Food security is an important guarantee of national security,but at the same time,food production is facing the double pressure of tightening resources and environment.Some scholars pointed out that 19%~29% of greenhouse gas emissions are caused by the food production system.Therefore,how to realize the green and low-carbon transformation of food production under the premise of ensuring food security has become an important topic for development in the new era.In March 2020,the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas issued the key points of green development in agriculture and rural areas in 2020.No.1 central document of the Central Committee also pointed out that it is necessary to constantly improve the comprehensive grain production capacity and stabilize the grain self-sufficiency rate,and vigorously carry out green,high-quality and efficient actions to promote the green development of grain production.The traditional mode of production will be limited by physical capital,human capital and business scale.It is very difficult for a single small farmer to achieve standardization,intensification and greening in food production.Therefore,it is an inevitable trend for the sustainable development of China’s agriculture to realize the transformation of the production mode from small-scale farmers’ independent operation to entrusted service operation.In recent years,China has continuously introduced policies and measures related to agricultural productive services,which have played a significant role in promoting food production and green production.Therefore,in the new stage of agricultural development in which green development leads rural revitalization and achieves the "double carbon goal",agricultural productive services are an important way to promote the connection between small farmers and green production,and to achieve a comprehensive green and low-carbon transformation of the food industry.First of all,this paper theoretically analyzes the impact of agricultural productive services on China’s green food production and its mechanism on the basis of combing and summarizing relevant literature at home and abroad.Secondly,it systematically describes the current situation of agricultural productive services in China from three aspects of development scale,development speed and service subjects,and measures and evaluates China’s grain green total factor productivity using SBM-GML model.Thirdly,the panel fixed effect regression,least square method and intermediary effect model are used to empirically test the impact and mechanism of agricultural productive services on green food production.Finally,according to the above theoretical and empirical research results,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.Through the research,this paper mainly draws the following conclusions: First,the annual average value of the overall grain GTFP in China is 1.0131,indicating that the green total factor productivity of China’s grain has improved to a certain extent and is in a state of fluctuation;The green total factor productivity of grain in most provinces is increasing year by year,and the provinces with improved GTFP account for 70.97%.However,the growth of grain GTFP among provinces is different to some extent;The green production situation in the main grain producing areas is better than that in the main marketing areas and the balanced production and marketing areas.Second,agricultural productive services have a significant promoting effect on green food production.This result is still stable after changing the core explanatory variables,which further confirms the correctness of this conclusion.Heterogeneity analysis shows that agricultural productive services have the largest effect on promoting green grain production in the balanced production and marketing areas,followed by the main production areas,and the effect on the main marketing areas is not significant.Third,the analysis of the intermediary effect of agricultural productive services on promoting green food production shows that agricultural productive services promote green food production through three paths: scale operation,professional division of labor and technological progress.The intermediary effect of the three paths on green food production accounts for 34.8%,9.2% and 12.3% respectively.Based on the above analysis results,in order to ensure the further development of agricultural productive services and achieve green and efficient food production.This paper puts forward targeted policy recommendations from three aspects: optimizing the development environment of agricultural productive services,improving the industrial system of agricultural productive services,and using comparative advantages to promote regional coordinated development,with a view to providing theoretical guidance and empirical support for China’s agricultural productive services to further promote green food production.
