Against the backdrop of steady economic development in China,the tourism industry has entered an era of great development.Tourists are no longer satisfied with the mode of visiting a single tourist attraction(point).Developing and constructing distinctive and diversified tourist destinations has become the direction of high-quality tourism development,and the concept of comprehensive tourism development has emerged.With the adjustment of the COVID-19 prevention and control policy by the end of 2022,the demand of the tourism market is more diversified.At the same time,China has proposed the construction of characteristic towns in vigorously promoting rural revitalization and accelerating urbanization.As one of the highlights,tourism characteristic towns have played an important role in promoting the development of rural urbanization,and a number of successful tourism characteristic towns such as Wuzhen and Xitang have emerged nationwide.Therefore,applying the concept of global tourism development and building and enhancing tourism characteristic towns will inject new momentum into the development of tourism characteristic towns.This paper takes Xixia Tourism Characteristic Town in Xinjian District of Nanchang City as the research object,deeply explores its development status,existing problems and reasons,analyzes and summarizes its promotion strategies.As the first batch of characteristic towns in Jiangxi Province,Xixia Town,with its unique geographical advantages and abundant tourism resources,focuses on building a tourism characteristic town and focusing on the development direction of regional tourism.The scale of regional tourism has taken shape and the industrial development has been greatly upgraded.This article analyzes and studies the current development status of the town through on-site research and interviews.Based on the information obtained,the main problems that currently constrain its development are identified,including incomplete overall tourism,weak industrial integration,insufficient infrastructure,weak brand advantages,and weak radiation and driving force.And analyze the root causes of its problems,mainly due to inadequate planning positioning,insufficient government investment,inadequate publicity and promotion system,and incomplete supporting systems.In response to the problems and combined with the causes,this article analyzes the improvement strategies of the "six all" development model of global tourism,and proposes "six all" strategies such as comprehensive planning,regional improvement,industry integration,all season experience,comprehensive marketing,and social participation.At the same time,we hope to provide certain reference and inspiration for the practical construction and theoretical research of Chinese current regional tourism characteristic towns. |
