Research Report On High-quality Development Ability Of Changsha Listed Companies

As the main body of the capital market,listed companies have more development advantages than other market subjects,and are playing an increasingly significant role in resource allocation and promoting economic growth.As a rising star in central China,Changsha had 78 listed companies by the end of 2021,accounting for 59 percent of listed companies in Hunan Province,ranking first among provincial capitals in central China.Under the deployment of "Strong provincial capital" strategy and "The golden lotus " leap plan for listing enterprises,it has become an important task for Changsha to promote the high-quality development of listed companies.In this context,it is urgent to comprehensively investigate the development status and quality of listed companies in Changsha,analyze the existing problems and obstacles in their highquality development,and put forward corresponding solutions and measures to promote the high-quality development of listed companies.This research firstly defines the connotation of high-quality and sustainable development of enterprises,and based on the theory of sustainable development and stakeholder theory,constructs the development quality evaluation index system of listed companies from three dimensions of operation development ability,innovation development ability and social responsibility fulfillment ability.Based on the description of the basic situation of listed companies,this research analyzes and evaluates the high-quality development of listed companies in Changsha by using the established development quality evaluation index system.It is found that the listed companies in Changsha have some problems,such as unbalanced development,weak profitability and development ability,few listed companies in advanced manufacturing industry,low efficiency in R&D and innovation,and not giving full play to the leading role of local industry.And in view of the problems existing in the development of Changsha listed companies,the research puts forward some specific suggestions to promote the high-quality development of listed companies from the perspective of listed companies and the government.As for the listed companies,they should take the initiative to strengthen communication with government departments;Improve management efficiency and business performance;Strengthen the introduction and training of innovative talents;Build local industry chain around itself.The government should strengthen the cultivation and support of companies after listing;Increase innovation support for listed companies;Guide listed companies to form Innovation Consortium;Encourage listed companies to play a leading role in the industry.From the perspective of sustainable development of enterprises,this research constructs the high-quality evaluation index system of listed companies from the three dimensions of operation development ability,innovation development ability and social responsibility fulfillment ability,and provides ideas for evaluating the highquality development ability of enterprises.At the same time,this research takes listed companies in Changsha city as the research object,studies the development status and quality of listed companies,which has certain practical significance for promoting the high-quality development of listed companies in Changsha city.
