Research On The Development Strategy Of Z Securities Company’s Investment Banking Business Under The Concept Of ESG

With the introduction and application of the ESG concept,ESG has developed rapidly at home and abroad,and its influence has gradually expanded.The ESG concept coincides with the core idea of high-quality development in China,which promotes enterprises to practice ESG.Currently,China’s securities market is gradually improving and expanding,and the core business of securities companies-investment banking business-is also facing a transformation of development strategies to seek long-term stable development.Introducing ESG concept into the process of formulating and implementing investment banking business development strategies for securities companies can not only provide theoretical value for enriching ESG concept and the connotation of investment banking business development strategies,but also provide practical value for developing investment banking business and designing investment banking business development strategies.This article takes the investment banking business of Z Securities Company as a research case to design the development strategy of Z Securities Company’s investment banking business.Based on the theory of ESG and corporate strategy,this paper uses the literature research method,case analysis method and questionnaire survey method to collect data such as the annual reports and ESG reports of Z Securities Company and carry out questionnaire survey on relevant personnel for research,analysis and summary.Firstly,this article analyzes the internal environment of Z Securities Company’s investment banking business,summarizes the key factors of its internal strengths and weaknesses,and conducts an IFE evaluation of its internal factors based on the questionnaire survey,and it is found that Z Securities Company’s development of investment banking business can fully utilize its internal strengths and solve the problems and impacts caused by weaknesses;Secondly,this paper uses the PEST analysis method and Porter’s five forces analysis method to analyze the external environment of investment banking business of Z Securities Company,summarizes the key factors of external opportunities and threats of investment banking business of Z Securities Company,and conducts an EFE evaluation of external factors for the key factors of opportunities and threats on the basis of the questionnaire survey,finding that Z Securities Company can make full use of favorable conditions to develop investment banking business and avoid adverse threats;At last,based on the analysis of the internal and external environment,this article analyzes and summarizes eight feasible development strategies,and constructs a SWOT analysis matrix,next,based on the results of the questionnaire survey and key internal and external factors,a QSPM quantitative strategic plan matrix analysis is conducted,and five development strategies suitable for Z Securities Company’s investment banking business are finally selected,named ESG brand building strategy,deepening financial technology application strategy,system and management system construction strategy,strengthening market research strategy,and talent system construction strategy.On the basis of summarizing the vision,mission,the necessity of introducing the ESG concept and framework of Z Securities Company’s investment banking business development strategy,five implementation plans for investment banking business development strategy are elaborated,and four guarantee measures are proposed,named strengthening risk management control,strengthening internal collaboration between different departments,improving ESG information disclosure and supervision work,ensuring smooth financing channels and diverse financing tools for the company.This article designs five development strategies and implementation plans for Z Securities Company’s investment banking business,which is conducive to the long-term,stable,and sustainable development of Z Securities Company and its investment banking business.Under the guidance of the ESG concept,this article analyzes the internal and external environment to design development strategies and formulate implementation plans for Z Securities Company’s investment banking business,promoting the development of Z Securities Company and its investment banking business,while providing reference for other enterprises in the same industry.The innovation of this article lies in,on the one hand,expanding the application prospects of ESG concept to guide the formulation and implementation of enterprise strategies;On the other hand,enriching the connotation of investment banking business development strategies and providing a new ESG perspective for the research of investment banking business development strategies.
