Financing Issues And Strategy Of Semir Garment Under Asset-Light Operation Mode

Asset-light operation mode refers to that enterprises invest resources in high-value links such as R&D process and marketing services,and pay attention to the construction of intangible assets such as brand image,R&D ability and management experience.With the rapid development of economy and the transformation and upgrading of consumption structure,China’s garment enterprises have turned to asset-light operation mode to enhance their competitive strength.However,this mode also brings some financing problems.Taking Semir Garment as an example,this paper deeply analyzes the financing problems under the asset-light operation mode,and analyzes the specific causes of the financing problems from the perspective of the characteristics of the asset-light operation mode,and then finds solutions.This paper consists of six parts.The first part mainly introduces the research background and significance of this paper,arranges the relevant literature from the two perspectives of asset-light operation mode and financing research under this mode,and then explains the research content,research methods and possible innovations.The second part is the related concepts and theoretical basis,which defines the concepts of asset-light and financing respectively,and expounds the theoretical viewpoints involved in this paper.The third part introduces the operation status of assetlight operation mode in domestic garment industry and the general situation of Semir Garment,and analyzes the financing status and problems of Semir Garment.The fourth part analyzes the reasons for the financing problems of Semir Garment,combined with the characteristics of assetlight operation mode.The fifth part is to find the strategy to solve the financing problem.The sixth part is the conclusion and prospect.After the study of the financing structure of Semir Garment under the asset-light operation mode,this paper finds that Semir Garment has financing problems in terms of internal financing stability and debt financing level.From the perspective of asset-light operation mode,these financing problems are mainly reflected in the instability of internal financing caused by "light" in the operation link,the "light" asset form leads to insufficient debt financing,and the supply chain control leads to high financing risk.This paper believes that Semir Garment should solve the financing problem from the following aspects: first,in stabilizing internal financing,we should strengthen the stability of asset-light operation mode,control outsourcing links in production to ensure product quality,pay attention to franchisee and customer management in sales,operate flexibly and monitor the whole process.Secondly,enterprises should appropriately increase debt financing,broaden financing channels,improve external financing structure,improve information disclosure and give full play to the value of soft power.Finally,in view of the high financing risk in the supply chain,we should strengthen cooperation to reduce the transmission of credit risk,reduce outsourcing dependence and control the level of commercial credit financing.The research of this paper will help the case enterprise to adjust their financing ideas according to their own characteristics,so as to provide better financing support for asset light operation.In addition,for the existing asset light enterprises,especially the manufacturing asset light enterprises,it can also provide some references to help them clarify the operation mechanism of asset light mode from the perspective of financing,and help them eliminate their doubts about financing,so as to promote their asset light operation and improve their competitiveness.
