With the advent of the digital era,digital technology has gradually entered a mature stage,and the development of digital trade has become an important factor in enhancing the economic strength and competitiveness of various countries.Studying the relationship between digital trade and the position of a country’s global value chain,and analyzing the law between the two,can more intuitively show a country’s digital trade level and provide a realistic basis for formulating trade development strategies.Based on the data of 30 countries along the Belt and Road in 2014-2020,using the entropy method to build digital trade evaluation system,to the digital trade development index of 30 countries ranking,and according to the study of Kooman,Antras,calculated the global value chain position index and upstream index,empirical analysis of the influence of digital trade on a country’s global value chain position.The study found that the impact of digital trade level on the position of a country’s global value chain is first suppressed and then increased,The large construction cost caused by the early development of digital trade will restrain the position of the global value chain,And later will release digital trade dividends,Facilwas effect than inhibition,The global value chain position is gradually improving;Institutional quality will positively regulate the impact of digital trade on the position of the global value chain,Good institutional quality provides a high-quality external environment for enterprises to carry out digital transformation,Improve the production efficiency of enterprises,To achieve a role enhancement in global value chains,Promoting the rise of global value chains;According to the heterogeneity analysis,the influence of the digital trade level in Asian countries and developing countries on the global value chain location showed a significant inhibitory effect,The threshold for dividend dividends has not yet been reached,The promoting effect is not obvious.Based on the research conclusions obtained,this thesis puts forward policy suggestions on the digital trade development of developing countries from the perspectives of innovation,institutional governance,international cooperation and Belt and Road construction. |
