Measurement And Comparison Of "the Belt And Road" Along The Country Service Trade International Competitiveness And Global Value Chain Position

With the adjustment of the world economic structure and the accelerating process of economic integration,especially the rapid development of information science and technology and the improvement of the rules of Global trade,the service trade is experiencing the golden period of development.An important strategic position based on the rise of Global trade in services and "The Belt and Road" regional cooperation,combing the relevant research results at home and abroad,According to the theoretical foundation of Trade in Value Added(TIVA)database based on the world input-output table.The use of OECD-TIVA database in 2000-2014 years "The Belt and Road along the CIS countries,Asian countries of ASEAN,ASEAN countries in Asia,central and Eastern European countries in 23 major countries in general and sub-sectors of trade in services to increase the value of import and export data.First of all,the analysis of "The Belt and Road along the country's service trade development status and trends.Secondly,according to the analysis made by Bei Lhasa,the international comparative advantage index RCA measure "The Belt and Road along the country's overall service and different factor intensive type segments international competitiveness.Finally,based on the background of the global industrial value chain,we further calculate the global value chain status index and participation index of the overall service and subdivision services of various countries in the global value chain,and then analyze the position of countries in the global industrial value chain,and then explore the true development of the service trade in the world and the international competitiveness.The results of the study are as follows:From the scale of the development of service trade,"The Belt and Road along the country in recent years,service trade has been in a state of sustained growth,but export countries along the horizontal distribution is uneven,mainly concentrated in the medium scale level.From the perspective of international competitiveness,The Belt and Road along the country's overall service trade in a more obvious competitive disadvantage,However,it has certain comparative advantages in segments of service trade,especially in labor-intensive service sectors.The level of international competitiveness of countries in the region is quite different.Central and Eastern European countries have relative advantages over Asian countries in terms of service trade competitiveness.From the perspective of the global industrial value chain," The Belt and Road along the country's service trade in the global value chain downstream of the member countries in the global value chain specialization and trade size is not proportional,with low value-added export characteristics.The labor and capital intensive service sectors in various countries have relative advantages in the global industrial value chain,while the knowledge intensive service sector has no advantages.Therefore,"The Belt and Road" the member countries should seize the opportunities and challenges of the global industry value chain and play to the complementary advantages of industries,Energetically developing high value-added links in service trade,improve the level of international competitiveness and the status in the global value chain.
