Research On Pension Demand Of Rural Empty-nesters And Countermeasures In Gushi County

With the continuous development of aging population and urbanization of our country,a large number of young people in prime of life labor force is missing in rural areas,and it appears the situation of rural hollowing out,which caused rural economy relative lag,leading to a growing number of empty-nesters.Therefore,under the guidance of the rural revitalization policy,the key to solving the pension problem of rural empty-nesters is to focus on their own pension needs,to narrow the gap between urban and rural pension,to ensure the multiple needs of rural empty-nesters,and to improve the pension security system in rural areas.At the same time,it is of great significance to enhance the happiness of rural empty-nesters and realize the good wish of a peaceful old age,which is an urgent issue for us to study.Based on Malos’ hierarchy of needs theory,synergy theory and active aging theory,this paper mainly adopts questionnaire survey and case analysis method to issue questionnaires to 220 empty-nesters in Wushi County,Xinyang City,and interviews and talks about key problems.There is a close relationship between demand and realization.Understanding the needs of rural empty-nesters is the premise to realize their effective pension.From the five aspects of economic support,medical health,life care,spiritual comfort and entertainment,the present situation of rural empty-nesters pension is expounded.In Gusshi County,the old-age care of the rural empty-nesters shows the lack of economic security,medical security,life care shortage,lack of spiritual comfort,entertainment and other problems,which has become an urgent social problem to be solved.Combined with the current situation of the pension needs of the rural empty-nesters in Gushi County,Xinyang City,the comprehensive summary of historical development experience shows that the pension needs of the rural empty-nesters are increasing,and the degree of demand satisfaction is not high.Therefore,the author divides the implementation subjects to solve the problem into their own,family,community,society and government perspectives to solve the problem of rural empty-nesters’ pension needs and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions.First of all,we should pay attention to the self-care role of their needs for the aged and change the solidification of their thoughts.Secondly,in the current process of rural social development,family pension mode is still in a dominant position,so families should play a fundamental role in meeting the needs of rural empty-nesters.Thirdly,give play to the supporting role of the community in meeting the pension needs of the rural empty-nesters,and meet and improve the pension needs of the empty-nesters.Finally,the government should play a leading role in meeting the needs of rural empty-nesters and build a high-quality old-age security system in rural areas.To ensure that the needs of empty-nesters are fully realized in a multi-dimensional and comprehensive way,and to create a beautiful situation where empty-nesters are dependent on and happy for their old age.
