| With the continuous deepening of agricultural green development,the grand picture drawn at the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has given new era connotations,system contents,and practical dimensions to agricultural green ecological development.Ecological agriculture and green agriculture have become important ways and means to achieve agricultural modernization.As a desirable carrier for the combination of planting and breeding,family farms not only produce good economic benefits,but also can give consideration to ecological and social benefits.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct in-depth and systematic theoretical analysis and empirical research on the application of the model of combining planting and breeding on family farms.First,by combing through the relevant literature,we found that there are few studies on the factors influencing the application of farming combination in family farms,and most of them focus on assessing the comprehensive benefits of farming combination,and most of them are discussed from the perspective of farmers.Secondly,in order to make up for the deficiencies of the traditional theory of planned behavior in terms of external environment and other aspects,based on the definition of relevant theories and concepts,this paper builds a theoretical analysis framework of family farms’ adoption of the combined farming model based on MOA theory,taking family farm decision makers as the analysis object,and connotes the three core indicators of family farms’ motivation,opportunity and ability to carry out combined farming from the perspective of qualitative analysis From the perspective of qualitative analysis,the three core indicators of family farms’ motivation,opportunity,and ability to integrate farming are defined and transformed into specific and operable items,and the indicator system is constructed.Again,through field research in some areas of Henan Province,327 questionnaires were collected,and a binary logistic model was applied to quantitatively analyze the factors influencing the adoption of farming combination by family farms,and 11 factors influencing the adoption of farming combination by family farms were obtained.Finally,the ISM explanatory structural model was used to categorize and hierarchically analyze the 11 factors that significantly influenced the adoption of integrated farming model in family farms,and the hierarchical and correlational relationships among the factors were identified.The results showed that:training experience,growing conditions,policy subsidy effect and organizational environment were the root factors influencing the adoption of integrated farming by family farms,demonstration evaluation pressure,risk perception and capital access ability were the intermediate level factors influencing the adoption of integrated farming by family farms,while economic value identification,ecological value identification,social value identification and mechanical equipment situation were the direct factors influencing the adoption of integrated farming by family farms.Based on this,this article proposes relevant policy recommendations: improve subsidies and institutional support to support the integration of planting and breeding,improve subsidies and financing policies,comprehensively utilize policy levers such as land and funds,and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of family farms to adopt the integration of planting and breeding.Build a good organizational environment for combining planting and breeding,give full play to the guiding and safeguarding role of industrial organizations,industry associations,and cooperatives,reduce the risks of combining planting and breeding operations,and enhance the confidence of family farms in carrying out planting and breeding integration.We will effectively strengthen agricultural technology guidance and mechanization in the combination of planting and breeding.Professional guidance is provided through regular agricultural technical training related to the planting and breeding integration model to enhance the value recognition of family farms in planting and breeding integration,thereby promoting the possibility of adopting planting and breeding integration on family farms.By improving the mechanization level of planting and breeding integration,reducing the threshold for purchasing small equipment for family farms,and directly promoting the adoption of planting and breeding integration on family farms. |
