The Development Of The Family Farm In Taishun County,Wenzhou City

As was reported at 18 th Party Congress, “we should develop various forms of scale management as well as a new agricultural management system, which is intensive,professional, organizational and social."It is the objective needs of contemporary agricultural development in rural area, also it gives the direction of how to make traditional agriculture transfer to modern agriculture, so the impact would be significant.Wenzhou is located in the eastern part of our country, as a more developed prefecture-level city of China, its agricultural development has Eastern characteristics,and it can represent the characteristics of agricultural land in the eastern region.As an agricultural county in Wenzhou, and in response to the central policy, Taishun has vigorously developed organic farming by utilizing its own ecological advantages, so the quality and quantity of new agricultural operations have been leaps and bounds in recent years.According to the official statistics, by early 2015, Taishun has more than 60 agricultural enterprises, more than 300 family farms, farmer cooperatives has reached to around 2,000.Although the new agricultural business entities in Taishun has developed effectively, there are still many problems in the process of development. For example,land resources are increasingly scarce, the relationship is not stable, the initial capital investment is large, the late stage of financing to supplement the lack of organizational capacity to be strengthened, the lack of planning of industrial layout, etc.This article discusses about what is the family farm, the difference between family farming and other agricultural operations, the significance of developing the family farm,and the situation of family agricultural development. Through theoretical analysis, case studies, comparative analysis and so on, it analyzes the nature, the concept and the benefits of the family farm, also points out the inevitability and suggestions for developing the family farm.
