| In Chinese society,work and family are the two most important areas in one’s life,and the relationship between them has always been widely paid attention to.A great deal of research on the contradiction between work and family and the influence of mutual promotion had been conducted by some scholars.The reason why many people work is from their family.Family is very important to everyone,and the "family culture" has long been rooted in the heart of each individual.However,the idea of family as a source of motivation for work has not attracted enough attention and discussion.With the gradual extension of the concept of "family motivation" and related research by scholars,it has gradually become a new but hot topic in the field of organization-family research.Family motivation believes that family motivation can encourage people to take work as a way to obtain family financial support.The emphasis is that it is an important source of work motivation.Employees are working for the well-being of their families or the needs of their families,rather than seeing work as a tool to make money.In previous studies,many regarded family as the pressure and burden of work,but ignored it as the work motivation.However,with the in-depth study of the concept of "family motivation",although some scholars proposed that family would indeed have a positive effect on employees’ work in some aspects,this study only stayed in the preliminary stage.As a result,it is very meaningful to explore the influence of family motivation on enterprises and the mechanism of family motivation on employees,which can put forward some specific countermeasures and measures for enterprise management.Based on the motivation theory of pro-social behavior,this study explores the influence of family motivation on individual job crafting.At the same time,this study used questionnaire survey method,taking 207 on-the-job employees as the research object,selected family motivation scale,job crafting scale,work-related rumination scale and leader-member exchange relationship scale to formulate and issue questionnaires,and used linear regression method to test the influence of family motivation on job crafting,the mediating effect of work-related rumination and the moderating effect of leader-member exchange relationship.This study mainly focuses on the following aspects:(1)Family motivation has a positive impact on job crafting;(2)Family motivation has a positive effect on work-related rumination;(3)Work-related rumination has a positive effect on job crafting;(4)Work-related rumination has a mediating effect between family motivation and job crafting;(5)Leading-member exchange relationship has a reverse moderating effect between family motivation and work-related rumination.The worse the quality of leading-member exchange relationship is,the stronger the positive effect of family motivation on work-related rumination will be.Otherwise,it weakens.The innovation points of this study are as follows:(1)This paper explores the influence of family motivation on employees’ job remodeling behavior and its mechanism,which enriches the relevant research on family motivation and job remodeling;(2)This study also discusses the moderating effect of leader-member exchange relationship on the relationship between family motivation and job crafting,which gives us new insight into the moderating effect of leader-member exchange relationship. |
