| At present,the epidemic of the century and the changes of the century are intertwined and superimposed,the uncertainty and complexity of the external environment have increased significantly,the global central banks represented by the Federal Reserve are moving toward tightening monetary policy,the global economy is only slowly recovering,and international financial risks have increased significantly.Domestically,my country’s economy is still under the triple pressure of demand contraction,supply shock,and weakening expectations.Financial risks in some regions and industries continue to accumulate and eventually explode.Due to changes in the macroeconomic situation,the non-performing loan balance of commercial banks in my country has kept rasing,and the non-performing loan ratio has also remained at a high level for a long time.Faced with increasing pressure on the growth of non-performing loans,commercial banks in my country have significantly increased the write-off of non-performing loans in recent years,but the write-off has not appreciably resolved the risk of non-performing loans.Together with non-performing loans,commercial banks’ non-performing assets have been inefficiently occupying the valuable credit resources of commercial banks for a long time.This is a significant bottleneck for the further development of commercial banks.Therefore,using comprehensive risk management theory,bank behavior theory,combined auction theory,and the advantages of digital risk control system to optimize the disposal of non-performing assets of commercial banks,effectively improving the overall quality and efficiency of non-performing assets disposal for commercial banks,is of great significance to the sustainable and healthy development of commercial banks.This thesis selects the "A+H" listed city commercial bank Chengdu Branch of Bank C as the research object,analyzes the disposal methods of non-performing assets one by one in combination with cases and data,and combines the expert interview method to studies the problems existing in the disposal of non-performing assets,the formulation of optimization plans and safeguard measures.Firstly,this thesis has established comprehensive risk management theory,bank behavior theory,and portfolio auction theory as the theoretical basis through a combination of domestic and foreign literature.Secondly,through the analysis of typical cases of various non-performing assets disposal methods used by the Chengdu Branch of Bank C,combined with the interview content of Bank C employees,it is found that the Chengdu Branch of Bank C has problems such as flawed evaluation and incentive mechanisms,unclear internal governance structure,and lack of combined disposal strategies in the disposal of non-performing assets.Then,in accordance with the goal of "resolving non-performing asset risks and improving disposal efficiency," an optimization plan was formulated,including an optimization plan formulated from the dimensions of increasing incentives and evaluation measures,promoting the internal centralized model,and enhancing the professional quality of employees,and then a positive disposal strategy and a unified management model,and inferior assets will be combined with high-quality assets to package and dispose of them,and the establishment and improvement of digital risk control systems and other optimization measures.Finally,it proposes guarantee measures for the implementation of the optimization plan from five aspects: perfecting the disposal-related system,improving the disposal business process,strengthening team building,improving the management level,and developing a non-performing asset information platform.With the rapid development and application of science and technology and the continuous deepening of the digital transformation of commercial banks,commercial banks need to continue to flexibly optimize the disposal of non-performing assets under the continuous improvement of non-performing asset-related mechanisms,the improvement of management level,and the establishment of information platforms,innovate business models,take multiple measures to prevent and resolve non-performing assets risks,and improve the quality and efficiency of non-performing assets disposal.It is hoped that this thesis will serve as a reference and guide for commercial banks in the disposal of non-performing assets. |
