Measurement Of The Development Level And Optimization Path Of Manufacturing Industry In The Upper Reaches Of The Yangtze River

A complete and strong manufacturing system is an important foundation for the optimization of the national economic structure and the overall development of the social system.The historical course of world economic development has repeatedly proved that without solid industrial support,no country can be strong and no nation can prosper.The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasizes that speeding up the building of a strong manufacturing country and promoting a new type of industrialization are important contents of building a modern industrial system.Based on the basic background of unbalanced and inadequate national economic development,our manufacturing industry still has outstanding problems such as weak scientific and technological innovation,uncoordinated regional development,and wide development gap.The upper reaches of the Yangtze River region is a key region in China’s western development strategy,the development strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the construction of the “Belt and Road”.The development of the manufacturing industry is of great strategic significance to realize coordinated regional development and speed up the building of manufacturing power.This paper takes the industrial development theory,the industrial structure evolution theory,the innovation theory,the industrial agglomeration theory and other manufacturing development related theories as the scientific guidance,comprehensively uses the literature research method,the empirical analysis method,the normative analysis method,takes the upper reaches of the Yangtze River as the research scope,and the manufacturing industry development as the research object,and combs the internal migration development of the manufacturing industry development in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River since the Anti-Japanese War,the recovery and construction in the early stage of liberation Six development processes,including the foundation stage of the “First Five-Year Plan and the Second Five-Year Plan”,the key development of the third-line construction,the accelerated development of reform and opening up,and the leapfrog development of the Western Development.Describe and analyze the current situation and characteristics of manufacturing development in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River,comprehensively build a multi-level measurement index system,focus on the use of entropy method to empirically measure the level and spatial and temporal pattern of manufacturing development in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River,and systematically analyze the five constraints of manufacturing development in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.On this basis,the strategic framework for the optimization of manufacturing development in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River is put forward reasonably,and the optimization path for manufacturing development in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River is explored and established.In this paper,it is concluded that the manufacturing industry in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River has been growing in scale,and the operating income,total profit and profit margin of the manufacturing industry in the upper reaches have been on the rise.The development structure continues to improve,with prominent industries with comparative advantages.The industrial structure tends to be upgraded and rationalized.The innovation capacity has significantly improved,and the input and output of innovation have continued to grow.Opening up was gradually expanded,and indicators such as total investment by foreign-invested enterprises and total imports and exports of land features where business units operate steadily increased.However,the trend of industrial division weakened and the industrial structure became similar.The overall evaluation score of the manufacturing industry in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River was low,showing a fluctuating upward trend.The development gap within the region is significant,showing a decreasing trend from north to south.The manufacturing development level of Sichuan Province is the highest in the upstream region,while the manufacturing development level of Chongqing and Yunnan Province alternates between the second and third place.The manufacturing development level of Guizhou province has always been at the bottom of the upstream region.The development of manufacturing industry in the upstream region continues to increase the destructive power of environmental pollution,and the pressure of environmental protection continues to rise.Green manufacturing needs to be vigorously developed.On the whole,the manufacturing industry in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River region has some practical problems,such as weak economic scale effect,low scientific and technological innovation ability,uncoordinated industrial structure,medium and low-end development of industrial chain,and low level of green manufacturing,which have become severe challenges for high-quality,green and sustainable economic development in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River region.On the basis of current situation analysis and empirical research,aiming at the practical problems and main challenges existing in the development of manufacturing industry in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River,this paper proposes to take the “One Belt,One Road” Initiative,the Yangtze River Economic Belt,the western development strategy and other major strategies as the strategic background,and take the theoretical basis,resource basis and industrial basis as the strategic basis.With innovation-driven,industrial integration and foundation strengthening as the strategic ideas,market-led,government-guided,innovation-driven,coordinated development,independent development and open cooperation as the strategic principles,and with the strategic objectives of improving innovation driving force,optimizing coordinated development ability and enhancing sustainable development,the optimization strategic framework for the development of the manufacturing industry is optimized.It has explored and established an optimal development path for the manufacturing industry in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River,which focuses on improving infrastructure,optimizing industrial distribution,undertaking industrial transfer,persisting in innovative development,and transforming to green manufacturing.
