Research On The Impact Of Digital Inclusive Finance On Rural Revitalization

The report of the Party’s twenty National Congress pointed out that in the process of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way,the most arduous and onerous task is still in the countryside.So vigorously developing rural areas is one of the important tasks of the Party and the country.With the continuous development of digitalization and information technology,digital inclusive finance comes into being.The development of digital inclusive finance can help rural revitalization,give full play to the role of inclusive finance and the Internet,make up for the shortcomings of traditional finance,improve the level of financial services,reduce financing costs,and thus facilitate rural revitalization.Based on this,this paper adopts the entropy weight method to construct the comprehensive evaluation index of rural revitalization in 31 provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)during 2011-2020 with the help of five dimensions(industrial prosperity,ecological livable,rural culture civilization,effective governance and rich life)as the explained variable.This paper uses the Peking University Digital Inclusion Finance Index as the core explanatory variable,and verifies the direct and indirect effects of digital inclusion finance on rural revitalization through the use of fixed effect model and intermediary effect model.The conclusions are as follows: First,digital financial inclusion can promote rural revitalization on the whole.Second,the impact of digital financial inclusion on rural revitalization is heterogeneous.In terms of structural heterogeneity,the coverage breadth of digital inclusive finance has a greater effect on rural revitalization than the depth of use and the degree of digitization.In terms of regional heterogeneity,the eastern region plays a smaller role in promoting rural revitalization than the central and western regions.On the other hand,under the line of Hu Huanyong,the southeast region plays a smaller role in promoting rural revitalization than the northwest region.Third,digital financial inclusion has an indirect impact on rural revitalization.That is,digital inclusive finance exerts an impact on rural revitalization through economic development level and rural entrepreneurial vitality,indicating that digital inclusive finance exerts a partial mediating effect on rural revitalization through economic development level and rural entrepreneurial vitality,and the mediating effect of economic development level is greater than that of rural entrepreneurial vitality.Finally,based on the research conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward: First,take advantage of macro policies to help the development of digital inclusive finance.Second,promote digital financial inclusion infrastructure and rural revitalization.Third,we will strengthen talent support for rural vitalization.Fourth,we should leverage the three-wheel driving role of digital inclusive finance to promote rural revitalization.
