Research On Labor Liberation Problem In Artificial Intelligence

Marx devoted his life to the struggle for human emancipation,and labor emancipation,as an important part of Marx’s idea of human emancipation,has always received the attention of scholars at home and abroad.Marx believed that labor emancipation would be realized in the future communist society,and highly developed productive forces were the material basis of labor emancipation.Since technology played an important role in the development of productive forces,machines,as the most advanced technological representatives at that time,naturally attracted Marx’s high attention.In Capital,Marx conducted an in-depth study of machines,discussing not only the important role of machines in promoting the development of productive forces,but also a profound critique of the alienation of labor caused by the application of machines in capitalist society,forming Marx’s view of machines.As mankind enters the 21 st century,the fourth wave of technological revolution,marked by networking,digitalization and intelligence,comes,and artificial intelligence becomes one of the representatives of the latest technological achievements,representing the most advanced productive forces.However,artificial intelligence still belongs to the category of tools and technology in essence,just like machines.Therefore,the principles explained in Marx’s machine concept are still applicable and valuable in the present era.With Marx’s machine view as a guide,it is important to explore whether labor emancipation can be achieved in the context of artificial intelligence on the basis of comparing the relationship between machines and artificial intelligence.Taking the widespread application of artificial intelligence as the background of the times and the question of whether labor emancipation can be realized in the context of artificial intelligence as the main content,this paper mainly uses the methods of literature research,materialistic dialectics and theory to practice,and is guided by the Marxian view of machines to analyze the constraint of the capitalist application of artificial intelligence on the realization of labor emancipation on the one hand;on the other hand,to analyze the socialist application of artificial intelligence and labor On the other hand,the prospect of the development of socialist applications of artificial intelligence and labor emancipation is presented.This article contains five parts,which are summarized as follows:First,to elaborate the main elements of Marx’s idea of labor emancipation.It mainly includes the background,theoretical origin and formation process of the idea of labor emancipation,as well as the main contents of the idea of labor emancipation.Second,an overview of artificial intelligence.Firstly,the basic issues of are artificial intelligence described,including the connotation of artificial intelligence,the development history,the three major schools of development and the characteristics of artificial intelligence development;secondly,the essence and the latest development of artificial intelligence are analyzed.Third,the relationship between artificial intelligence and labor emancipation.Firstly,Marx’s view of machines is proposed as the theoretical basis for analyzing the relationship between the two,mainly sorting out Marx’s discourse on machines,analyzing the relationship between machines and artificial intelligence,and discussing in detail Marx’s criticism of capitalist applications of machines;secondly,based on Marx’s view of machines,the revelation of analyzing the relationship between artificial intelligence and labor emancipation is derived,mainly from the productivity level and production relations.Fourth,the constraints on labor emancipation caused by the capitalist application of artificial intelligence are elaborated.The main four aspects are specifically analyzed: first,artificial intelligence causes more insidious labor alienation in capitalism;second,it causes the expansion of the scope of capitalist exploitation;third,it causes many problems of capitalist labor employment;and fourth,it causes challenges to the subject position of workers.Fifth,the prospect of socialist application of artificial intelligence and labor emancipation is elaborated.The analysis is mainly conducted in three aspects: first,the socialist application of artificial intelligence provides productivity conditions for the realization of labor liberation;second,the socialist application of artificial intelligence provides institutional and temporal conditions for the realization of labor liberation;third,it points out the realistic paths for the socialist application of artificial intelligence to promote the realization of labor liberation,mainly: adhering to the leadership of the CPC;adhering to the main position of public ownership;adhering to the people’s supremacy;adhering to the unity of instrumental and value rationality;and adhering to the lofty ideal of communism.
