Research On The Coupling And Coordinated Development Of Tourism System And Economic System In Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

Tourism and economy play an important role in the process of regional development.The development of tourism can improve the level of regional economy,which in turn will provide a strong guarantee for the development of tourism.Under the strategic background of the coordinated development of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,it is very important to realize the sound and sustainable development of tourism and economy in the region.Therefore,this paper takes the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as the research area,regards tourism and economy as two systems,and studies the coupling and coordinated development relationship between the tourism system and economic system of each city.First,the coupling coordination degree model of the tourism system and economic system in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was constructed,the weights of evaluation indicators were calculated,and then substituted into the coupling coordination degree model to divide the coupling coordination level.Secondly,the comprehensive development index and coupling coordination characteristics of the tourism system and economic system in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region were analyzed in terms of time and space scales.Finally,corresponding optimization countermeasures are put forward according to the existing problems in the analysis.The conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The comprehensive development index of tourism system and economic system of Beijing is at a high level in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,and the comprehensive development index of tourism system of Tianjin ranks the second in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,but the comprehensive development index of economic system is at a low level.Among the cities in Hebei Province,Shijiazhuang ranked high in two indexes,Baoding and Qinhuangdao ranked high in the comprehensive development index of tourism system,Tangshan and Langfang ranked high in the comprehensive development index of economic system,and Hengshui and Xingtai ranked low in two indexes.(2)The degree of coupling coordination between tourism system and economic system of each city shows a steady growth trend.From 2020 to 2021,affected by the COVID-19 epidemic,the degree of coupling coordination decreases,and the degree of coupling remains at a high level for a long time,always higher than the coordination index.Beijing gradually develops into a stage of high level coupling coordination,which is in a state of development of high coupling and high coordination.Shijiazhuang City,Baoding City,Tangshan City gradually developed into the run-in stage,in the development state of high coupling-medium coordination;Tianjin,Langfang City,Qinhuangdao city,Zhangjiakou City,Chengde City,Handan City,Cangzhou City,Hengshui City,Xingtai City gradually developing for the rivaling stage and run-in stage,in the state of high coupling-low coordination of development.From the perspective of spatial and temporal pattern,the coupling and coordinated development of tourism system and economic system of cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 2012 to 2021 has a spatial effect,and the spatial differentiation and connectivity of neighboring cities are gradually obvious.(3)The tourism system and economic system of Beijing and Tianjin have a high level of development,which plays an important driving role in the development process of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Shijiazhuang,Tangshan and Langfang have good economic development,the coupling and coordinated development of tourism system and economic system are good,and Qinhuangdao City,Zhangjiakou City and Chengde City have good tourism development.The coordinated development of tourism system and economic system needs to be improved.Baoding City and Handan City have more balanced development of tourism system and economic system,while Hengshui City,Xingtai City and Cangzhou City have low development level and coordination degree of tourism system and economic system.(4)Put forward the optimal countermeasures to realize the high-level coordinated development of tourism and economy in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region: develop the whole region tourism and improve the quality of tourism service;Each city deeply excavates its own characteristics and gives play to the advantages of tourism resources;Strengthen economic exchanges among cities by using the strategy of coordinated development of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei;Improve people’s living standards and unleash the vitality of consumption;The government has increased support to promote the coordinated development of tourism and the economy.
