Along with the rapid development of consumer electronics industry,die cutting products are more and more widely used in mobile tablets and other electronic products.The consumer electronics industry itself is characterized by rapid upgrading and in order to adapt to the market development,enterprises must shorten the product development cycle to seize market share.Enterprises gradually realize that scientific project schedule management methods and tools can help them improve project management ability and market competitiveness.As a big company in the die cutting industry,L company faces the pressure of customers’ strict requirements for the speed of new product development and the continuous growth of external competitors,so the improvement of project schedule management requirements is imminent.This paper attempts to solve the problems of project schedule delay and schedule control deviation during the development of key materials through the relevant theoretical research and tool methods of project schedule management.First,by describing the status of schedule management for key parts development projects of L Company,this paper finds out that there are some problems in the project schedule management,such as unscientific schedule planning,inadequate schedule control,low comprehensive quality of the team and serious resource conflicts.Secondly,WBS,PERT,CPM and CCPM are used to improve the project schedule planning.At the same time,the project progress control can be improved by adding Engineer project manager,standardizing monitor method and content,strengthening project scope change management and etc.Finally,this paper proposes to improve the comprehensive quality of the project team and stage performance management to ensure the implementation of the project schedule and control.Based on the status and problem analysis of schedule management of key parts development projects of L Company,and by using scientific theories and methods of schedule management,this paper proposes improvement measures and guarantee schemes for schedule management of key parts development projects of L Company.The purpose is to help L Company complete the schedule of key parts development projects on schedule to meet or even exceed customer expectations and gain market competitiveness in die cut industry.At the same time,the relevant research on project schedule planning and control in this paper can also be applied to the development project management of other materials in the company.In addition,it can also provide certain experience for other die cut companies and help the industry project schedule management ability improve together.
