Research On The Level And Influencing Factors Of Collaborative Agglomeration Between Producer Services And Manufacturing Industry

As the national economy in our country gradually transitions from "manufacturing economy" to "service economy",producer services and manufacturing industries peeled off from the traditional industrial sectors have gradually presented the industrial evolution trend in coordination.At present,the development of manufacturing industry in the Yangtze River Delta is in a good situation.At the same time,the development of producer services is gradually promoted in various places,leading the transformation of manufacturing industry from a single industrial agglomeration structure to a coordinated agglomeration of manufacturing and producer services.The local government has issued a series of preferential industrial policies to vigorously support the distribution of producer services and manufacturing in the local area,so as to promote the coordinated development of the two.As most of the relevant literature on the direction of industrial collaborative agglomeration is studied from the national scale,the conclusions are less targeted in the region.However,the Yangtze River Delta region has obvious regional advantages and good industrial foundation,and the service industry grows rapidly,showing a prominent trend of collaborative agglomeration of the two industries.Therefore,41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta were selected as research samples in this paper.Through the analysis of the more micro city panel data,the comprehensive research of productive service industry and manufacturing cluster development situation,and collaborative evaluation industry agglomeration development advantages and disadvantages,which will be conducive to promote the coordinated development of two major industries in Yangtze river delta,for local government to promote "twowheel driven" development strategy put forward a scientific and feasible.From the perspective of industrial collaborative agglomeration,this paper uses the location entropy index to measure the agglomeration level of producer services and manufacturing,and then constructs the industrial collaborative agglomeration index to analyze the overall and subdivided industrial collaborative agglomeration level of the two major industries in the Yangtze River Delta.Arcgis software is used to visualize the calculation results.Thus,it can directly reflect the industrial distribution and evolution law in the Yangtze River Delta region.Based on the calculation of the synergistic agglomeration level and industrial correlation level of the two industrial subdivisions,the distribution map of "industrial correlation degree-collaborative agglomeration degree" was constructed to analyze the relationship between industrial correlation and collaborative agglomeration.Starting from the industrial association,market proximity,transportation conditions and institutional environment,this paper discusses the influencing mechanism of the collaborative agglomeration of two industries.Based on the above analysis,relevant explanatory variables are selected to analyze the spatial spillover effect and comprehensive impact of the collaborative agglomeration of industries in this region and neighboring regions through the spatial Dubin model.According to the statistical analysis of the real data,the conclusion can be drawn:(1)From the perspective of the Yangtze River Delta as a whole,the collaborative agglomeration index shows a fluctuating trend,and the spatial distribution trend of "center-periphery" of the two major industries is obvious.(2)From the perspective of manufacturing industry segmentation,there is a significant difference in the level of collaborative agglomeration between producer services and manufacturing industry segmentation in the Yangtze River Delta region.(3)At the present stage,the proportion of industry combinations with strong industrial correlation and high collaborative agglomeration in the Yangtze River Delta region is low,and there is still a large room for improvement.Conclusions can be drawn from the empirical test of spatial Dubin model:(1)There is a significant spatial dependence effect on the level of industrial cooperative agglomeration in the Yangtze River Delta.The level of industrial cooperative agglomeration in the two major industries is not randomly distributed in geographical space,but has a certain spatial positive correlation,showing obvious spatial dependence characteristics.(2)The growth of the local market size can promote the collaborative agglomeration of the two industries,but the existence of the central market makes the influence relationship become obvious inverted "U" shape,and there is an optimal market size to achieve the optimal level of collaborative agglomeration.(3)The improvement of transportation conditions promotes the collaborative agglomeration of the two industries,and the improvement of a city’s transportation infrastructure can improve the level of industrial collaborative agglomeration in this region and neighboring regions.(4)The deepening of local government protectionism and the increasing degree of nationalization are not conducive to the collaborative agglomeration of the two industries.(5)The improvement of informatization level and the expansion of city scale greatly promote the collaborative agglomeration of the two industries,while the effect of the level of opening to the outside world on the collaborative agglomeration of the two industries is insignificant.Finally,this paper makes innovations in the research scope and research ideas.In the research scope,41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region are selected as research samples,and more micro urban panel data are used for empirical test,which is the need of theoretical exploration and practical development.On the research idea,from the perspective of industry,space,and the system,by the industry association,the market nearby,transport conditions and institutional environment factors of influence on together two big industry agglomeration mechanism is analyzed,as far as possible,use more realistic index to represent the corresponding variable,promote the comprehensive and practical research.At the same time,based on the spatial heterogeneity of industrial co-agglomeration,this paper analyzes the factors affecting the level of the two industries’ co-agglomeration through the spatial econometric model.However,this paper still has many shortcomings in the extension of theoretical mechanism,data acquisition and policy suggestions.The subsequent research can be more systematic,from more dimensions and more in line with the reality.
