This paper takes Z Company as the research object,analyzing the existing circumstance and main reasons of employee turnover,and then comes up with targeted countermeasures to solve the problem of employee turnover in Z Company.The predecessor of Z Company is the state-owned enterprise Z Thermal Power Plant,which was founded in the 1980 s.It was restructured into a private enterprise Z Company in 2001.After the restructuring,the problem of employee turnover has gradually emerged in Z Company,and the employee turnover rate has been around 10% in 2017-2021.This paper introduces the current situation of employee turnover in Z Company,and combines the development background,organizational structure and employee situation of the company to find out its adverse effects on the company,mainly including increasing the operating cost of the company,reducing the competitiveness of the company,weakening the internal cohesion of the company,and damaging the external image of the company.There are many factors that cause employee turnover,including macro environmental factors,mid industry factors,micro enterprise internal factors,and personal factors.This article focuses on the internal of the company,looking for the reasons for employee turnover within the company,and improving the internal management of Z Company to reduce the turnover intention of employees in the company.This article uses a combination of questionnaires and interviews to design a questionnaire on company satisfaction based on preliminary analysis.Based on the situation reflected in the questionnaire results,an interview outline is listed,and interviews are conducted with resigned employees.It is found that the main reasons for employee turnover in Z Company include: low levels of compensation and benefits,staff training to be improved,poor prospects for future promotion,and insufficient team building.In order to scientifically and reasonably solve the problem of employee turnover in Z Company,this paper has formulated four targeted countermeasures-reform the salary and welfare system,strengthen the management of employee career development,improve the internal promotion mechanism,and create a harmonious team atmosphere.This paper also proposes a protection mechanism for the countermeasures.The senior management of the company takes the lead in establishing a special working group to set up a special fund to solve the problem of employee turnover,and strengthen publicity and guidance throughout the process.This paper not only hopes to reduce the turnover intention of employees in Z Company,let them stay at their posts with ease,and reduce the turnover rate of employees in Z Company,but also hopes to help more enterprises with similar conditions to Z Company,and let these enterprises change the current situation of serious employee turnover.
