Research On The Potential Of A-level Scenic Spots In Shanxi Province

COVID-19 has put the brakes on the global tourism industry,revealing the vulnerability of the tourism industry.In the post-epidemic era,global and domestic tourism has been affected or "stopped",and traveling in the province has become an inevitable choice.At the same time,the tourism industry has also entered a period of rapid development in Shanxi Province,and it has become a new pillar industry for economic development.A scenic spot is a very representative object for the development of the tourism industry in Shanxi Province in the further.China has managed COVID-19 with measures against Class B infectious diseases,instead of Class A infectious diseases,in a major shift of its epidemic response policies.The development of scenic spots faces new opportunities,new energy,and new challenges.Scenic spots are the material carriers for tourism activities.It is the foundation for rational development and the premise for healthy and sustainable development of the tourism industry that explores factors internal and external comprehensively,then calculates the development potential of scenic spots in Shanxi province.The basic framework and the research methods by combining the theory of the tourism system and the spatial structure in this paper.Firstly,describing the general situation of tourism and the spatial distribution of scenic spots in Shanxi Province.It is found that the spatial distribution of A-level scenic spots in Shanxi Province generally presents a distribution pattern of "more concentrated in the middle and south of the province,less scattered in the west and north".Then,establishing an evaluation index system of the development potential of Shanxi A-level scenic spots with 3 level 4 dimensions and 15 indicators containing supply potential,market demand potential,support potential and security potential by literature review,qualitative and quantitative analysis,comprehensive evaluation,and other related research methods.Finally,the development potential of A-level scenic spots in Shanxi Province is classified into five subregions,namely high potential area,potential enhancement area,general potential area,low potential area,and low potential area respectively.According to the classification of different potential areas and thedifferences of spatial correlation,putting forward strategies.The potential high-value areas should strengthen high-quality brand management and construction.The potential enhancement areas focus on playing the leading role of leading scenic spots and strengthening cooperation between scenic spots.The ordinary potential areas pay attention to broadening tourism boundaries and improving the experience.The areas with low potential rely on policy support and system drive.The lowest potential areas in Shanxi should be constructed in government guidance,financing,reception facilities,talents,industry management,and so on.The study consists of 7 chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,including the research background,content and methods,technical routes,and the research status at home and abroad,which combs and summarizes the research progress and achievements of the spatial structure and development potential of scenic spots at home and abroad.Chapter 2 is about the relevant concepts and theories.Chapter 3 is the research area and data sources,mainly introducing the general situation of tourism development in Shanxi Province and the research data sources.Chapter 4 is the spatial distribution pattern of A-level scenic spots.Chapter 5 is the construction of the market potential model and indicator system.Chapter 6 is the evaluation results of the development potential,including the evaluation results of the potential and the development promotion strategies of the scenic spot.Chapter 7 is the conclusion and outlook,which summarizes the research results and puts forward the deficiencies.
