In recent years,the continuous spread of COVID-19 and the changes in the international situation have had a huge impact on the global and domestic economic situation.The trend of changes in the pattern of world economic growth is becoming more uncertain,and the possibility of sustained low growth of the global economy is increasing.The outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict this year further affects the recovery of international economic growth.Under the joint influence of the international situation and the novel coronavirus epidemic,the domestic economy has faced a great test in recent years,which has had a great impact on the investment confidence in economic activities and the degree of financial market activity.China’s securities market started later than that of western countries,and there are still some imperfect systems and mechanisms.The management and development of TF securities companies in this market are mostly in the preliminary stage of exploration in many aspects.It is a complex and long-term research topic to better adapt the management of securities companies to the changes of domestic economic and financial situation and achieve the optimal results.Among them,in the operation and management activities of the securities company,the account manager of TF Securities Company’s business department plays a great contribution and role.The final implementation of the operation behavior of the securities company,the final communication with customers and the market feedback behavior of the account manager are completed through the account manager.Therefore,the work effect and enthusiasm of the account managers directly affect the development effect of securities companies and relate to the basic guidance of standard development of our securities market.TF Securities is a local brokerage firm.Due to its regional advantages and historical accumulation,it has certain social resources in brokerage business.However,current securities companies are faced with fierce competition in the same industry,serious internal problems in the same industry,Internet finance and other problems,resulting in the decrease of market share of the company.Since 2022,the brokerage revenue of TF Securities company has accounted for 21.93%,about 4% less than the average net income of this business compared with the top ten securities companies in the same industry.TF Securities company’s brokerage revenue mainly comes from the company’s business department.With the changes of market environment and quotation,the business department of the company is also the direct organization for securities companies to carry out various businesses with customers.The future development direction of various businesses and revenue model is the focus of discussion in the industry.With the transformation and development in recent years,TF Securities has improved the revenue model of its business department and expanded the types of business projects.Based on the needs of customers,TF Securities will try its best to meet all requirements of customers.Due to the serious internal problems in traditional enterprises,the fierce competition in the same industry of securities companies and the impact of Internet finance,the rational performance appraisal system and the adjustment of the company’s performance appraisal system according to the external environment can improve the rationality of the performance appraisal system of the business department,which will be conducive to improving the enthusiasm and efficiency of employees,so as to effectively enhance the overall competitiveness of the business department.Improve W business department development of TF Securities Company.The research object of this paper is the account manager of W Business department of TF Securities Company.It focuses on improving the current performance appraisal system of the business department on the basis of objective management,incentive theory,key performance indicator method and Maslow’s demand theory.This paper begins by describing the current situation of the perfo.rmance appraisal system for account managers in the W business Department of TF securities,and then finds some defects in the current performance appraisal system,such as unreasonable setting of performance appraisal indicators and weights,unreasonable performance appraisal cycle,lack of ability of performance examiners and failure to feedback performance appraisal results to the object.This paper studies the current situation of TF Securities company,analyzes the causes of the existing problems,and proposes countermeasures to improve and optimize the performance appraisal system of account managers in the W business department of TF Securities based on the reference of relevant theories and literature.In addition to establishing a complete performance appraisal system,this paper also uses analytic hierarchy process,literature research and field investigation to determine the weight of each performance appraisal index.At the end of this paper,four safeguards are proposed to ensure the smooth development of the performance appraisal system.The elaboration of this paper not only provides reasonable countermeasures for the improvement of the performance appraisal system of account managers in the W business department of TF securities company,but also has an enlightening effect on the performance appraisal system of the same industry of securities companies.
