Abstract/Summary:
With the continuous advancement of market interest rate,and the impact of foreign banks and Internet finance on the banking industry,China’s commercial banks are facing an unprecedented test.In the face of intense competitive pressure,commercial banks are also continuously adjusting their development strategies and optimizing their management mechanisms.The scientific and efficient performance appraisal scheme is an important means of bank management,and plays the role of "baton" to convey strategic objectives.Based on the relevant theories of performance appraisal,this paper designed the questionnaire and interview outline,and investigated and interviewed the relevant personnel of Y Branch of C Bank.The research finds that the performance appraisal plan of Y Branch of Bank C has some problems,such as lack of strategic planning,unreasonable setting of indicators and weights,imperfect assessment process,and insufficient application of assessment results.The main reasons are that Y Branch of Bank C does not properly coordinate short-term and long-term development,network management personnel are not involved enough,performance feedback supporting mechanism is lacking,and performance appraisal results are not used in a single way.To solve the above problems,based on the principles of fairness,science,diversity and efficiency,based on the main performance indicators(KPIs)of the evaluation of C Bank’s head office and the strategic performance map of Y Branch of C Bank,the Balanced Scorecard(BSC)was introduced,and the performance evaluation index system was constructed from four assessment dimensions of finance,customers,internal processes and learning and growth.A performance appraisal scheme combining KPIs and BSC is designed,which is conducive to solving the problems existing in the current performance appraisal scheme of Y Branch of C Bank.Therefore,it is suggested that Y Branch of Bank C strengthen its strategic goal orientation,strengthen communication and publicity,and do a good job in advance of the organization,system,culture,personnel and other security work to promote the effective implementation of the new plan.
