China’s manufacturing export trade has been greatly impacted by the level of science and technology,labor productivity,export product competitiveness,and other factors.The focus of the modern industrial revolution is now on intelligent manufacturing,and China has implemented a range of policies to capitalize on this new development climate and bring about a new breakthrough in the manufacturing export trade.The strategic plan of "Made in China 2025" released by the State Council explicitly proposes " implementing intelligent manufacturing project",At the Nineteenth Party Congress,A decision of great magnitude was taken to hasten the advancement of sophisticated production,the Web,Big Data,Artificial Intelligence,and the real economy,with the purpose of forming a formidable Manufacturing Nation.This decision was further supported by a focus on the integration of intelligent manufacturing and the real economy,particularly in the manufacturing sector.Therefore,this thesis studies the effect of MGA on Chinese manufacturing exports,and examines whether the SGM can bring new impetus to the prosperity of Chinese manufacturing.An initial examination of the impact and theoretical mechanism of smart manufacturing level on China’s export of manufacturing goods is conducted in this paper,and composes and selects the literature on the measurement of smart manufacturing level,and finally selects the installed stock of industrial robots in China as the measurement index.Secondly,in terms of theoretical and model analysis,Two paths of impact on China’s manufacturing export trade are elucidated in the paper,which examines the mechanism of smart manufacturing level: labor productivity and export product competitiveness,respectively.On the one hand,the level of smart manufacturing increases labor productivity through substitution effect;on the other hand,Smart manufacturing technology and equipment’s digitalization,networking,and intelligence will bolster the competitiveness of export products,thus fostering the expansion of manufacturing export trade.For the empirical analysis,this paper uses the manufacturing export data of China to 45 countries from 2000 to 2019,ITo assess the effect of the advanced production level on China’s manufacturing export trade,testing is necessary,a trade gravity model is used,and the sample is tested categorically according to the technological content of the exported products and the income level of the trading partners.In addition,to test the mechanism of the impact of the advanced production level on China’s manufacturing export trade,the empirical results’ robustness is guaranteed by the use of the mediation effect test,which evaluates the endogeneity and robustness of the results accordingly.Finally,On the basis of theory and demonstration,it is pointed out that Intelligent Manufacturing can improve Chinese manufacturing trade in some degree,and suggests that China should promote the "Made in China 2025" plan,while focusing on improving the overall human capital level,promoting the application of smart manufacturing in manufacturing research and model promotion In order to help enterprises better integrate intelligent manufacturing into production and promote the prosperous development of China’s manufacturing export trade,we propose that China should promote the "Made in China 2025" plan,focus on improving the overall human capital level,promote the research and model promotion of intelligent manufacturing in manufacturing industry. |
