| Informationization is a dynamic and comprehensive development process,which mainly focuses on the continuous improvement of information technology and the efficient use of various kinds of resources to promote the development of industries and economic progress through the integration of resources and self-innovation.Informatization provides opportunities for industrial structure upgrading through the innovation and change of information technology and the development of new industries.An in-depth study of the effect of informatization on industrial structure can help promote the advanced and rationalization of industrial structure.This paper integrates the perspective of information technology development and explores the impact of information technology on industrial structure upgrading through theoretical and empirical tests.Firstly,based on the relevant conceptual theories of informatization and industrial structure upgrading,the mechanism of the effect of informatization on industrial structure upgrading is explored.The conduction mechanism of informatization affecting technological progress and thus industrial structure upgrading is proposed.Secondly,the current situation of China’s current informatization development and industrial structure is analyzed.Then,an empirical analysis is conducted to test the effect of informatization on industrial structure upgrading by constructing an index system of informatization level,measuring the level of informatization in each region using the entropy value method,using and measuring the index of advanced and rationalized industrial structure,and constructing a fixed-effect panel model to test the effect of informatization on industrial structure upgrading by using panel data from 2005-2020 in each province,while conducting heterogeneity tests by region and introducing technological progress to establish The regression analysis was conducted by introducing the intermediate effect model.The results show that the improvement of informatization level can significantly promote the upgrading of industrial structure,and technological progress is the mediating variable for the development of informatization and advanced industrial structure.At the same time,the synthetic control method was used to assess the impact effect of informatization policy in Sichuan Province,and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for promoting industrial structure upgrading by informatization in China were proposed,in order to provide useful ideas for the development of informatization and industrial structure upgrading. |
