A Study On The Mechanism Of Action Of Supply Chain Governance To Performance In The Context Of Digital Platform

With the continuous advancement of technological revolution and industrial change,enterprises are facing the pressure of transformation and upgrading,and the deepening integration of platform economy and supply chain management has made the traditional supply chain enter a new platform-based stage.Promoted by the new generation of digital technologies such as cloud computing,big data,artificial intelligence and blockchain,platform supply chain has been widely applied and developed,and platformization has become the representative form of advanced supply chain.Studying the governance mechanism of supply chain platform in the context of digitalization is of very significant practical value and theoretical significance to promote the healthy and rapid development of supply chain of Chinese enterprises and to promote the innovation of modern supply chain management methods in China.Meanwhile,the rapid development of web 2.0 has given birth to a large number of platform-based enterprises.For many high-tech enterprises,the knowledge resources on the platform are the core competitive advantage on which their survival depends.A large number of transactions are conducted on the platform every moment,which provides a convenient channel for enterprises to create knowledge,disseminate knowledge and acquire knowledge.The process of governance of the platform will promote the exchange of knowledge contents among enterprises and the reshaping of knowledge structure,facilitate the diffusion of knowledge throughout the supply chain,and provide impetus for innovation at different levels of the supply chain.Whether enterprises adapt to the increasingly complex market environment or build on their existing market position to become bigger and stronger,they cannot do without using the platform to absorb,transform and apply new knowledge.However,the previous studies on supply chain governance are only limited to the relationship governance and contractual governance of supply chain,and few studies on supply chain governance are conducted from the perspective of digital platform,and the role of knowledge in supply chain governance is not explored in depth,which are the limitations of previous studies.In this context,this study thoroughly reviews the authoritative literature on supply chain governance and creatively proposes a "platform-ecological" supply chain governance dimension from a rich theoretical perspective.At the same time,four variables,namely,supply chain relationship governance,supply chain contract governance,knowledge sharing and supply chain performance,are introduced to empirically investigate the supply chain governance mechanism in the context of digital technology,to explore the impact of supply chain governance on knowledge sharing and supply chain performance,and the role of knowledge sharing as a mediating variable in the relationship between supply chain governance and supply chain performance.In this paper,a random sample of questionnaires was used for data collection,and the study was conducted on middle and senior managers working in the fields of transportation,warehousing and postal services,software and information technology services,and manufacturing industries,and to ensure that they had a certain degree of familiarity with corporate supply chain operations.The structural equation modeling was then conducted by Smart PLS 3.0 software,and the 333 questionnaires collected were analyzed by the measurement model with factor loading test,reliability test,and structural model analysis with model explanatory power and predictive relevance,direct effect test,and indirect effect test.The following conclusions were drawn from the structural equation model tests:(1)Supply chain platform governance has a facilitating effect on explicit knowledge sharing(2)Supply chain platform governance has a facilitating effect on tacit knowledge sharing(3)Supply chain relationship governance has a facilitating effect on tacit knowledge sharing(4)Supply chain contract governance has a facilitating effect on explicit knowledge sharing(5)Explicit knowledge sharing has a facilitating effect on supply chain performance(6)Tacit knowledge sharing has a facilitating effect on supply chain performance(7)In most cases,knowledge sharing has a mediating role in supply chain governance and supply chain performance.Based on the results of the empirical study,this article proposes management inspirations that enterprises can learn from in practice: rational use of digital technology to promote supply chain governance,accelerating the construction of supply chain platform governance mechanism,and attaching importance to the role of knowledge sharing in supply chain governance.The article concludes with a summary of the limitations of this study and an outlook for future research,with the hope that later scholars can expand the research in the field of platform supply chain governance.The innovation of this study is to propose the "platform ecological" supply chain governance dimension,which interprets supply chain governance from a new perspective and reveals the mechanism of how supply chain platform governance creates supply chain value.Based on the perspective of "knowledge sharing",it also reveals the mechanism of knowledge sharing in supply chain governance and supply chain performance,and improves and innovates the relevant theoretical system.
