Research On The Impact Of Digital Economy Empowering High-quality Economic Development In Shanxi Province

After entering the 21st century,China’s economic development mode has gradually changed from high-speed development to high-quality development,and promoting high-quality economic development is not only an important part of building a modern economic system,but also the core issue of China’s economic development.With the development of the digital era,the digital economy with information technology and data as the core of production factors is gradually becoming a new factor to stimulate economic development.As one of China’s resource-based provinces and national key energy bases,Shanxi Province is also an important fulcrum of China’s economic transformation,and is currently implementing the digital development strategy,striving to build a digital development ecology in Shanxi Province and promoting the deep integration of digital technology and the real economy.Therefore,it is particularly important to analyze and study the enabling effect and path of digital economy on the high-quality economic development of Shanxi Province.Combined with the new development concept,this paper takes the economic development of Shanxi Province as the research object,analyzes the current trend of the development of the digital economy in our province,and establishes a corresponding evaluation system,and conducts a detailed investigation of the high-quality economic development of Shanxi Province according to the five dimensions of "industrial structure","innovative development","coordinated development","ecological environment" and "living standard".Taking Shanxi Province as the specific research object,the threshold regression model,the spatial econometric model and the mediation effect model explore the role of digital economy in its high-quality development,and it can be concluded that:(1)The digital economy has a significant role in promoting the high-quality economic development of Shanxi Province,and the reliability of the results is verified through a series of basic robustness tests.Intuitively,for every 1 percentage point increase in the digital economy development index of Shanxi Province,the level of high-quality economic development will increase by about 0.48 percentage points;(2)the impact of the digital economy has a single threshold effect,and the faster the development speed,the more obvious the nonlinear characteristics of marginal increase in the enabling effect;(3)the results of spatial autocorrelation of the spatial econometric model show that the Moran index of high-quality economic development in Shanxi Province is significant at the 5% significance level,and there is obvious aggregation phenomenon between the two in space.The development of the digital economy in a certain region will also positively affect the economic development of the surrounding area;(4)Through the test of intermediary effect,the development of digital economy in Shanxi Province can empower the high-quality economic development of Shanxi Province by improving the internal mechanism of regional innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities;(5)The spillover effect shows that there are not only endogenous effects among various prefecture-level cities in Shanxi Province in the digital economy,but also have a certain impact on the economic development of neighboring regions under the action of spatial spillover effects.(6)There is regional heterogeneity of digital economy for the high-quality economic development of Shanxi Province,and the overall development level of digital economy presents the status quo of "high south and low north" during the research cycle.Finally,based on empirical analysis and conclusions,this paper puts forward the following policy suggestions: the development of digital economy in Shanxi Province should further promote structural reform and industrial structure adjustment,optimize the business environment,increase regional coordinated development,and establish a national and even global economic cooperation system with Shanxi’s economic peripheral cooperation as the fulcrum;It is necessary to give play to the role of innovation and entrepreneurship as the main force,adhere to innovation-driven development,accelerate new momentum of development with innovation as the guide,and encourage innovation;It is necessary to cultivate digital high-quality talents,strengthen the support of talent echelons,strengthen the training of their own talents,and diversify training models.
