Geographical capital is a comprehensive reflection of regional resource endowment,which has played an important role in the research of spatial poverty in the past.As a key development area of poverty alleviation in the past,the western Yunnan border area still needs a long time to achieve regional development after "lifting the cap of poverty alleviation".How to make an orderly connection between poverty alleviation and rural revitalization in the western Yunnan border area,prevent the risk of regional return to poverty,and promote the sustainable and healthy development of the region has become an urgent problem to be solved in the future development planning of this region.Therefore,this study takes geographical capital as the entry point,evaluates and analyzes the spatial and temporal changes of geographical capital in different periods in the western Yunnan border area,and analyzes the areas that may have the risk of returning to poverty.On top of that,based on the geographical capital,combined with the measurement of spatial accessibility and gravity,the spatial pattern of geographical capital in the study area is analyzed,and then the spatial pattern of the western Yunnan border area is optimized and explored under the guidance of the "pole-axis system" theory and the promotion of regional geographical capital.The results are as follows:(1)Driven by poverty alleviation work,the overall level of geographic capital in the study area has significantly improved,but there are shortcomings in the resource endowment of some areas,and the level of geographic capital is relatively low.Geographical capital of all cities and counties showed a linear upward trend,and the year-on-year growth in 2020 was higher than that in 2010.However,the level of geographical capital of the border ethnic autonomous counties such as Gongshan,Fugong,Lanping and Yunlong was still relatively poor,which should be focused on preventing the possible risk of poverty return and focusing on the rural revitalization work;(2)The spatial accessibility of the study area has obvious spatial differences,showing a situation of "decreasing circle level" with Dali city as the center.The accessibility level of the northwest and southeast regions is poor,and the accessibility level of the capital city to the marginal counties needs to be further improved.(3)The radiation range and radiation capacity of each capital city are not the same,and the current level of the connected axis between them is also quite different.The gravity level of northwest and southern regions needs to be further improved.The core cities,central cities,main axes,key connected nodes,secondary connected nodes and connected objects in the western Yunnan border area are identified by comprehensive analysis.(4)Guided by the theory of "pole-axis" system and aiming at boosting geographic capital,an optimization scheme of spatial pattern of "one district,three cores,five center and four axes" is constructed. |
