Research On The Impact Of Trade Facilitation On The Export Of Agricultural Products In Anhui Province

With the increasing frequency of trade cooperation between countries.The role of traditional tariff barriers in hindering international trade is also fading.However,the government’s supervision ability,infrastructure construction ability,customs management efficiency and differences in the level of financial market and e-commerce are still affecting the trade efficiency.How to solve these problems? In 1996,the concept of trade facilitation was first introduced by the World Trade Organization,and after more than 20 years of efforts,the "Trade Facilitation Agreement" was jointly formulated.Since then,the official establishment of the national trade facilitation level system has been announced,which has prompted the entire international trade environment to move forward in the direction of convenience,stability and healthy development.On the other hand,since its accession to the World Trade Organization,China has been deeply involved in trade cooperation with other countries,and China’s agricultural exports are increasing every year.As an important agricultural province in China,Anhui Province also achieved considerable development during this period.However,agricultural products are extremely perishable,and are sensitive to a series of factors such as transportation conditions,customs clearance efficiency,and policy systems in agricultural product trade.Therefore,a country’s level of trade facilitation has a great impact on agricultural export trade.Therefore,this paper combines the two key points of trade facilitation and the export of agricultural products in Anhui Province to explore the relationship between the two.This paper selects the importing countries of agricultural products in Anhui Province from 2008 to 2018 as the research object,and uses various theories as the support to explore the impact of trade facilitation on the export of agricultural products in Anhui Province.First,researching and organizing findings regarding the research direction of this article,and extract the principal component analysis method from a variety of research methods to measure the level of trade facilitation.On this basis,further explore the impact of trade management on agricultural products in Anhui Province,this paper achieves the goal by constructing a gravity model.On the basis of completing the overall return,continue to explore the role of the four first-level indicators in the construction of the trade facilitation system in the impact of trade facilitation on the export of products in Anhui Province.Finally,regional subdivisions are used to study the impact of trade facilitation between different regions on Anhui’s agricultural exports.The results show that the trade facilitation to doing business plays an important role in increasing agricultural exports in Anhui Province.Second,among the four first-level indicators of trade facilitation,the three indicators of "government supervision","infrastructure construction" and "customs management" promote the export of agricultural products in Anhui Province.The "finance and e-commerce" indicator is not significant.Third,trade facilitation in Asia,Europe,Oceania,and the Americas in the five continents has a significant impact on the export of agricultural products in Anhui Province,while the results in Africa are not significant.Finally,based on the empirical results,policy recommendations are put forward around two key points,namely how to improve the level of trade facilitation between China and trading countries and how to improve the export trade volume and export quality of agricultural products in Anhui Province.
