| In 2020,the global economy was hit by COVID-19.In order to ensure the steady development of the national economy,our government officially announced the three directions and seven fields of the New Infrastructure,including 5G,UHV,Big Data Center and etc.In the era of digital economy,big data center is the basic strategic resource of 5G,cloud computing,Internet of things,big data,artificial intelligence and other industries.It has the characteristics of high energy consumption,heavy assets,high output and thin profit.At the same time,as the foundation,it also directly supports the development of the whole information industry.Data center is an important infrastructure in China’s new infrastructure period.With the implementation of national "new infrastructure",REITs pilot and "counting East and west",data center will bring more opportunities and challenges to China’s economy.Y company is an famous payment institution in China.Under the background of fierce competition in the payment industry recently,Y company has actively expanded scientific and technological innovation business and made great efforts to explore new modes and new roads of operation and development.IDC is the abbreviation of Internet data center,that is,Internet data center.This dissertation mainly takes IDC business,one of the innovative businesses of Y company,as the research object,which mainly involves the construction,development,operation,computer room physical hosting,server rental and sale,cloud computing,network value-added services and so on.Through systematic analysis,theoretical analysis,field research,interview and exchange,based on strategic management and competition theory,this dissertation makes a comprehensive analysis of the current situation of IDC business of Y company by using SWOT and other analysis methods.Then complete the insight into the external development environment and internal competitive advantage of Y company’s IDC business,make a choice for the company’s IDC business development strategy,and formulate the IDC business development strategy and process control model in line with Y company through strategic analysis,so as to comprehensively improve the competitiveness of Y company’s IDC business. |
