Research On The Impact Of Different Technological Innovation Modes On China’s Manufacturing Export

After more than 40 years of expansion in China’s manufacturing industry,the overall scale and technical level of the manufacturing industry have been greatly improved.With the new technological revolution,the importance of technological innovation is increasingly prominent,which plays a decisive role in our manufacturing export.In this paper,technological innovation mode is divided into independent innovation and imitation innovation,which have obvious difference on the influence of Chinese manufacturing export.Therefore,under the strategic background of manufacturing power,it has become an urgent problem to analyze the influence of different technological innovation modes on manufacturing export.This paper takes manufacturing export as the research object,sorts out relevant theories and literature,studies the mechanism of different technological innovation modes on manufacturing export,analyzes the current situation of technological innovation modes,manufacturing export and the influence of different technology innovation modes on manufacturing export,builds panel data of 30 manufacturing industries(except comprehensive utilization of waste resources)from 2012 to 2020,and adopts the dual fixed effect model.The whole sample was analyzed by factor endowment in turn,and the endogeneity test of lagged first-order,2SLS and first differenced GMM and the robustness test of replacement explanatory variables were conducted to verify the robustness of regression results.Finally,policies and suggestions are put forward based on the theoretical and empirical analysis results.This paper draws the following conclusions:First,independent innovation has a significant positive impact on Chinese manufacturing exports,while imitation innovation has no significant effect on Chinese manufacturing exports.Secondly,the manufacturing industry is divided into technology intensive,capital intensive and labor intensive according to factor endowment for regression comparison.Independent innovation has a significant promoting effect,while imitation innovation only has a significant negative impact on the export of technology intensive manufacturing industry.Thirdly,the interaction terms of independent innovation and imitation innovation have a significant promoting effect on the export of the whole sample,technology intensive and labor intensive manufacturing industry,and a significant inhibiting effect on the export of capital intensive manufacturing industry.
