With the outbreak of the new epidemic in 2020,all walks of life in China have been affected to varying degrees,especially for catering enterprises,which is directly reflected in the sharp decline in catering market income.Although under the national macro-control,the epidemic situation of Xinguan has gradually been controlled,and the catering market revenue has significantly warmed up in 2021,the recurrence and persistence of the epidemic situation still profoundly affect the survival and development of catering enterprises in the post epidemic era.How to realize further development of catering enterprises in such a special environment is a problem worthy of attention and research.This paper takes Sichuan Haidilao Catering Co.,Ltd.,one of the leading catering enterprises,as an example to study its competitive strategy and its performance impact.First of all,this paper defines the related concepts such as competitive strategy,and combs the related theories between competitive strategy and corporate performance.Secondly,with the help of relevant strategic analysis tools,we scanned the internal and external environment of Haihailao Company,and analyzed its advantages and disadvantages.On this basis,we specifically studied the expansion strategy and differentiated competition strategy implemented by Haihailao Company,and compared and analyzed the strategic adjustment made by Haihailao Company in the post epidemic era.Finally,based on the impact of the epidemic situation on the investment and financing strategy and cost management of Haidilao Company,the balanced scorecard was used to build the company’s performance evaluation system,and the quantitative performance evaluation results were used to figure out the competition strategy and performance impact of catering enterprises under the epidemic situation.Finally,this paper draws the following three conclusions: First,the competitive strategy implemented by Haidilao Company has brought it obvious competitive advantages in the post epidemic era;Secondly,the competitive strategy implemented by Haidilao Company has a positive impact on the company’s performance;Third,the balanced scorecard has fully considered the company’s competitive strategy when building the company’s performance evaluation system,which is scientific and reasonable and can be used in enterprise activities.Therefore,catering enterprises should learn to develop a competitive strategy suitable for their own enterprises under the changing dynamic environment and in combination with the internal conditions of the enterprises to achieve further development in the post epidemic era. |
