Research On The Evolution Of Spatiotemporal Situation And Obstacles To The High-Quality Development Of China’S Tourism Industry

In 2017,the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed a new expression of high-quality development for the first time,which means that China’s economic development model will shift from quantitative and scale expansion to quality and efficiency improvement.As a strategic pillar industry of the national economy,tourism plays an important role in promoting regional consumption,benefiting people’s livelihood and stimulating economic growth.However,problems such as the deterioration of the ecological environment,the inefficiency of resource conversion,and the disorder of the industrial structure have made the tourism industry in an unsustainable state.In today’s international community’s close attention to green development and sustainable development,the country’s vigorous promotion of new development concepts,and the implementation of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality",it is of epoch-making significance to promote the high-quality development of the tourism industry.The "14th Five-Year Plan" for cultural and tourism development also clearly points out that high-quality development should be the theme to achieve the unity of development quality,scale,speed,efficiency and safety.However,at the same time,the development level of tourism industry in various regions of China is uneven,and there is a certain gap with the requirements of high-quality development.Therefore,objectively judging the high-quality development level of tourism industry in various regions in China,exploring the spatial differences and dynamic evolution of the high-quality development level of tourism industry under the background of the new era,excavating the objective factors affecting the high-quality development of tourism industry,finding the general direction of future development,and putting forward targeted suggestions for the development of tourism industry have important theoretical and practical value for clarifying the development goals of China’s tourism industry,promoting the growth momentum of tourism industry and the transformation of growth mode.Taking "high-quality development of tourism" as the core,on the basis of clarifying the connotation and characteristics of highquality tourism development,and guided by the new development concept,this paper constructs an evaluation index system for high-quality tourism development covering the five dimensions of "innovation,coordination,green,openness and sharing",comprehensively uses the data of 31 provinces in China(except Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)from 2008 to 2020,and calculates the high-quality development index of China’s overall and four major regions of tourism industry with the help of the entropy method.Explore the evolution law of the highquality development of China’s tourism industry from the perspectives of time and space.At the same time,based on the calculation results,the overall differences,regional differences,intra-regional differences and sources of high-quality development of China’s tourism industry were discussed with the help of Dagum Gini coefficient and its decomposition method.Thirdly,with the help of Kernel kernel density estimation method and spatial Markov chain analysis method,the dynamic evolution characteristics of the high-quality development level of China’s tourism industry are studied.At the same time,a diagnostic model of obstacle factors is constructed,and the obstacles to the high-quality development of the tourism industry in China and the four major regions are identified and analyzed from the two dimensions of criterion layer and index layer.Finally,according to the above research results,from the aspects of adhering to the innovation-driven development strategy,adhering to the strategy of sustainable tourism development,adhering to the open development of tourism,improving tourism infrastructure construction,strengthening regional cooperation,and developing characteristic tourism,it is proposed to promote the development of the tourism industry and improve quality and efficiency,and achieve high-quality development in all aspects.
