Study On The Influence Of Pilot Free Trade Zone On Economic Development Of Shandong Province

By 2022,China has set up 21 pilot Free Trade Zones,extending from the coast to the inland and running north-south.The establishment of Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone responds to the call of building China into a maritime power,and is an important“test field”for comprehensively deepening the reform of China.Through the continuous exploration of the construction of Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone,Shandong Province has a strong momentum of economic development,continuous improvement of the tax system,bright prospects for foreign trade development,continuous optimization of industrial structure,and continuous improvement of investment facilitation.Through the study of Shandong Pilot Free trade Zone,summarize its successful experience,and strive to benefit its fruitful results to other regions in China,which will help further improve the construction of business environment and maintain a fair,unified and efficient market environment.In the process of the research,the theory of regional economic development radiation,regional division of trade theory,unbalanced growth theory and other theories were referred to,and the literature research method,quantitative research method and comparative analysis method were adopted to explain that Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone had an obvious promoting effect on the economic development of Shandong Province.This paper introduces the development status of Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone from four aspects:spatial layout,industrial characteristics,development orientation and system composition.It analyzes the changes after the establishment of Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone,such as stable GDP growth,fast growth of foreign trade,optimization of industrial structure and deepening of trade and investment facilitation.It further highlights that Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone has accelerated the economic development process of Shandong Province.This paper analyzes the mechanism from three aspects of trade,investment and system,reveals the influence of the establishment of Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone on the economic development of Shandong Province,and uses the principal component analysis method and modified gravity model to explore the economic radiation degree of Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone on the surrounding cities.The following suggestions are put forward for the future development of Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone and Shandong Province’s economy:First,strengthen the support to the enterprises in the zone;Second,promote the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure;Third,we will improve the legal system.Through these efforts,the construction of Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone will be promoted,the gap between regional economic development will be shortened,and the quality of economic development will be improved.The continuous improvement of the construction of Pilot Free Trade Zones in Shandong Province will help shorten the economic development gap between regions and improve the overall quality of economic development in Shandong Province.
