Research On Social And Cultural Changes In Tourism Fiel

The changes of social culture under the influence of tourism is an important content in the traditional field of cultural tourism research."With the development of the times,In the context of globalization,the flow of people,commodities,information,capital and other elements has become more frequent,and the changes of social culture have become more diversified and complicated.Traditional research on changes of social culture and their theoretical explanations have been unable to adapt to the current situation.It is urgent to study the changes of social culture under the framework of global-local interaction.From the perspective of tourism field and based on the theory of glocalization,this paper adopts qualitative research methods to study the cultural changes of Fijian society.The results showed that:(1)The intangible cultural landscape of Fijian society(such as marriage,folklore,etc.)is undergoing comprehensive and profound changes,in which tourism plays an important role;(2)The changes of Fiji’s social culture are manifested as a process in which multiple subjects conflict and adapt to each other.Through this process,its social visage is reshaped at different levels;(3)The changes of social culture from a global-local perspective are the result of the interaction of three different spatial logics in the tourism field(quasi-the violence push down of "global space" to "local space",the mutual game of "local space" and "the space of flow",the reverse response of "the space of flow" to "global space").The research shows that under the double impact of global force and local power,The changes of Fiji ’s social culture are essentially a process of spatial reconstruction,driven by conflicts between different practical subjects.In order to reduce the negative effects brought by the conflict situation and guide the benign changes of local social culture,this thesis propose some policy suggestions,such as establishing(perfecting)interest coordination mechanism,strengthening capital access and supervision system,and strengthening ’the Belt and Road’ cooperation.The research is carried out in the context of anti-Western centralism.It is the first attempt to apply the theory of glocalization to the study of cultural changes.It expands the scope of the application of the glocalization theory and fills the gap in the traditional study of the changes of social culture.It shows the process of glocalization shaping social culture,reveals the spatial practice logic of the changes of social culture,and completes the theoretical dialogue between the theory of glocalization and the traditional views of the changes of social culture from a macro perspective.
