Research On Financial Performance Evaluation Of W Company Based On Entropy Weight TOPSIS Method

With the rapid development of market economy in our country,the external environment and internal structure that enterprises are facing are also changing,which leads to the owners and managers of enterprises to believe that the financial performance cannot be ignored.Corporate financial performance can be shown to some extent through corporate financial statements.Financial statements are not just a list of data,but can reflect the deeper connections between financial information.Therefore,this paper carries out systematic analysis and evaluation of enterprise financial performance,excavates the meaning hidden behind financial performance,and helps enterprise managers to more accurately understand the advantages of the current operation system,grasp the risks and problems in the operation process,and reduce the understanding deviation of the users of financial statements.As the core component of enterprise management evaluation,financial performance evaluation is an important subject in modern financial management field.This article selects W Group as a research object.Firstly,starting from the general situation and industry background of W Group,it uses literature research method to understand several current financial performance evaluation systems and evaluation methods.Then,based on the financial statements of W Group,representative indicators are selected from the aspects of debt paying,profit making,operation and development ability respectively,and combined with the economic situation and industry background at that time,the current financial status of W Group is analyzed,and the deficiencies of the evaluation methods are summarized,laying the foundation for the construction of the financial performance evaluation system in the following article.Secondly,combined with the characteristics of the real estate industry in which W Group is located and following certain selection principles,financial indicators suitable for this study are selected from the four aspects of profit,operation,debt repayment and development,so as to specially construct a financial performance evaluation system closer to the current situation of W Group.Then,the entropy method is used to objectively assign weight to various indicators to obtain comprehensive evaluation scores.The financial performance of W Group from 2017 to 2021 is evaluated vertically,and the financial performance of other 9 enterprises in the same industry is evaluated horizontally in 2021.The evaluation conclusions are drawn and the problems existing in the financial performance of W Group are diagnosed.Finally,from the perspective of profitability,debt paying ability,strengthening turnover efficiency and strengthening development ability,the improvement strategy is put forward: Make reasonable debt planning,expand financing channels,strengthen cost management system,strengthen financial performance responsibility assessment,strengthen inventory and accounts receivable management,rationally plan and develop blueprints,occupy the market with product advantages,and so on,so as to finally achieve the goal of improving the company’s financial performance.
