Study On The Impact Of Rural Industrial Integration On Farmers’ Income In Ningxia

The integration of one,two,three industries in rural areas is to promote the modernization of agriculture and rural areas by extending the agricultural industry chain and value chain.This is an important development strategy for the revitalization of the countryside,and a necessary way to develop the rural economy and increase farmers’ income.To do a good job in rural development,in-depth promotion of rural industrial integration.In recent years,Ningxia has responded to the national call to actively promote the development of rural industrial integration,and has achieved good results,such as Wuzhong City,Litong District,Wuzhong City,Yanchi County and other places have been recognized as the national rural industrial integration demonstration park,but due to the relatively short development time,less scientific planning,production is not sufficient,the industrial chain is not complete,the joint farmers with farmers mechanism is not perfect,and other factors,has been plagued by industrial integration development in Ningxia and farmers to enrich and increase income Therefore,it is important to explore the impact of industrial integration on rural areas.Therefore,it is important to investigate the impact of rural industrial integration on farmers’ income in Ningxia,which is important for the construction of demonstration parks of integrated development of rural industries with special characteristics and the realization of agricultural modernization and rural revitalization in Ningxia.First,based on the definition of the concepts of rural industrial integration and farmers’ income,this paper summarizes the theories and impact mechanisms related to industrial integration.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of rural industrial integration in Ningxia and the integration mode of the representative national demonstration park of rural industrial integration development,and makes an objective analysis of the level of per capita disposable income of rural residents,income structure and income gap between urban and rural residents.Subsequently,based on the analysis of the current situation of rural industrial integration and Ningxia farmers’ income,a set of indicators system consistent with the level of rural industrial integration development measurement in Ningxia is established by referring to and summarizing the index system constructed by related scholars,and the entropy-weight TOPSIS method is used to measure the level of rural industrial integration development in Ningxia.Finally,the level of rural industrial integration is taken as the core explanatory variable,the level of urbanization,the level of rural labor marketization,the gross regional product and agricultural fixed asset investment are taken as control variables,and the fixed-effect FE model is selected through model testing,and the panel data of 19 cities and counties(districts)in Ningxia from 2010 to 2021 are combined to empirically analyze the degree of contribution of the level of rural industrial integration to farmers’ income.The research results show that rural industrial integration mainly improves farmers’ income level and achieves farmers’ income increase through three integration modes:agricultural industry chain extension integration,agricultural function expansion type integration,and agricultural service industry integration.As the level of rural industrial integration increases,the income level of farmers in Ningxia is on the rise,the income structure is optimized,and the income gap between urban and rural residents is gradually reduced.By measuring its integration development level through entropy TOPSIS method,the analysis finds that the overall rural industrial integration development level of Ningxia is steadily increasing,but there are some differences in the development speed and development level of each index.Through the empirical analysis,the integration of rural industries has a positive promotion effect on the income of farmers in Ningxia.The increase of urbanization level,the increase of marketization level of rural labor,the increase of regional GDP,and the increase of investment in agricultural fixed assets are all important factors to promote the income of farmers in Ningxia.Therefore,the following suggestions are made to promote the integration of rural industries:(1)government policy support provides external guarantee for the integration of rural industries and farmers’ income(2)promote the development of new business entities and improve the interest linkage mechanism(3)extend the agricultural industry chain to improve the economic effect of agricultural industry while enhancing the added value of products(4)expand the agricultural function chain to enhance the level of agricultural development and realize the efficient use of resources(5)promote the information development and accelerate the integration of agricultural service industry.
