| With the rapid development of China’s high-speed railways,a large number of trains have been delivered and entered into the operation and maintenance phase,which has put forward extremely high requirements for the inventory management of maintenance parts while economic development and travel needs are met back-up support.As the most important EMU equipment manufacturing enterprises in China,Enterprise A has made it clear that the maintenance business is the pillar industry that sustains the company’s survival and development,and the inventory management of maintenance parts is one of the most important aspects of the entire overhaul process.The current inventory management of maintenance parts is managed according to the project.Because there are many types of overhaul parts,and some overhaul parts are common,which will cause a large number of redundant maintenance parts and the increase in inactive stock,it eventually leads to a large amount of funds being occupied by the maintenance parts inventory.The parts inventory of Enterprise A occupies the capital up to hundreds of millions yuan according to incomplete statistics.This thesis studies out the current situation of the EMU maintenance parts of Enterprise A.A data analysis is carried out on the inventory amount and the inactive stock.Also to sort out the business process from demand forecast to procurement then to inventory management,then combined with the interview research method,to find out the reasons for the problems existing in EMU maintenance parts inventory management of Enterprise A,that is,the lack of reasonable means of demand forecast for the parts,a lack of an effective inventory management and supplier collaboration mechanism are the main reasons.This thesis starts from three aspects:demand forecasting,inventory management and supplier collaboration in terms of inventory management optimization strategy for EMU maintenance parts.Firstly,based on the characteristics of the rail transportation equipment industry,the thesis formulate the forecast method for the required and occasional parts of EMU maintenance by using theoretical methods such as MRP material requirement planning and simple averaging method,combining with the overhaul plan,repair schedule and average consumption of spare parts,etc.Secondly,strengthen the management of production site inventory through the application of lean management ideas,the introduction of line-side warehouses and micro-warehouse,etc.,refining the in-out rules of inventory management.Then,based on the characteristics of EMU maintenance parts,apply the two-step matrix classification method to classify and manage maintenance parts,distinguish between the first and fourth levels of classification and control,and adopt different management strategies,apply VMI theory to the second and third levels of parts,and establish the inventory consignment management mode.Also strengthens the collaboration with suppliers while doing a good job of inventory classification and control.Finally,we propose measures to ensure the smooth implementation of the optimisation of inventory management in Enterprise A in terms of organisational restructuring,institutional protection,cultural construction and information technology construction.Through this study and the implementation of the optimized proposal,Enterprise A will have a reasonable means to forecast the demand for maintenance parts and form an effective inventory management mechanism and supplier collaboration mechanism,which will have a positive significance in solving the problem of high percentage of inventory amount and inactive stock in Enterprise A,and it will also serve as a reference for other enterprises in the same industry. |
