Research On China-ASEAN Digital Economy Cooperatio

With the development of information technology and the Internet,digital economy and digital trade cooperation has become a new driving force for the economic development of various countries.Studying the issue of digital economic cooperation between China and ASEAN is great significance to consolidate the strategic partnership,deepening economic and trade cooperation between the two sides as well as stabilizing regional security.This thesis analyzes the basis and significance of China-ASEAN digital economy cooperation based on the theory of international economic cooperation,summarizes the characteristics of cooperation and the progress in major fields,discussing the existing problems in cooperation and the current challenges and opportunities,and puts forward suggestions to promote cooperation countermeasure suggestions.This article argues that during the epidemic,the digital economies of China and ASEAN have achieved tremendous development.The digital economy cooperation mechanism between two parties is becoming more and more perfect,and the fields of cooperation are constantly expanding.The great progress has been made in digital infrastructure construction,cross-border e-commerce,digital payment,and smart city construction.Digital economy cooperation has become an important driving force for the economic growth of both sides.However,China and ASEAN still face many problems in the cooperation and development.The unbalanced development of ASEAN’s digital economy,the lack of talents in digital economy,and the large gap between China and China’s digital economy have restricted the development of cooperation.There are still uncertainties in cooperation.To be improved.The complexity of internal politics of ASEAN countries and the superposition of the US Indo-Pacific strategic expansion have brought challenges to cooperation.However,the continuous expansion of digital economy of the two parties,the upgrade of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area to version 3.0,the entry into force of RCEP,and China’s further integration into the world’s high-standard free trade area have brought opportunities for further cooperation between the two parties.In the future,the two sides should further enhance strategic and political mutual trust,promote the construction of the "Digital Silk Road",build a cross-border digital talent training system,and speed up the formulation of laws and regulations for digital economic cooperation.
