With the development of Internet and globalization,cross-border e-commerce has developed rapidly.China is a major manufacturing country in the world,and cross-border e-commerce business also leads the world.Cross-border e-commerce logistics is an important support for the development of cross-border e-commerce industry.Compared with domestic express logistics,cross-border e-commerce logistics has become more complex and difficult,which has become one of the important pain points in the development of cross-border e-commerce.Especially in the era of epidemic,problems such as difficult distribution,high logistics cost and long cycle have great room for improvement in China’s cross-border e-commerce logistics industry.S Company is the leading comprehensive logistics service provider in China and the fourth largest express delivery company in the world.With the rise of cross-border e-commerce model,S Company has also actively expanded cross-border e-commerce logistics business in recent years.In business operation,especially in the era of epidemic,the internal operation process is complicated and the last kilometer overseas delivery resources are lacking.High logistics costs and long delivery time have significantly affected customer satisfaction.In order to adapt to the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce,meet customer needs,improve the company’s competitive advantage,and optimize the existing process of cross-border e-commerce logistics are of great practical significance to the cross-border e-commerce industry.The research direction of this paper is to study the process optimization of cross-border e-commerce logistics optimization of Chinese logistics enterprises,and take a Chinese logistics company as a case to analyze the problems of cross-border e-commerce logistics export of Chinese logistics companies for in-depth research and analysis.Based on the PDCA cycle theory,through four stages of planning,execution,inspection and processing,during the research process,Interviews,questionnaires,brainstorming meetings and other methods are used to achieve the combination of qualitative and quantitative research.By analyzing the current situation,identifying the problems,finding out the reasons,formulating the improvement plan,implementing the improvement plan,checking the implementation effect and standardizing the operation,I completed the optimization of the cross-border e-commerce logistics process of S Company.Based on the analysis of the logistics process of S Company’s cross-border e-commerce fulfillment service,improvements have been made in four aspects,namely,transfer speed,customs clearance efficiency,flight waiting and overseas delivery,thus realizing the optimization of S Company’s logistics process and greatly improving customer satisfaction.At the same time of process optimization,it provides a perfect guarantee system for the continuous optimization of the company’s business process from the aspects of objectives,resources,systems and operations.
