| With the development of technology,residents’ consumption patterns are also changing.The conventional retail business has had an influence due to the use of intelligence and big data,the application of big data technology to the commercial area,and the establishment of the idea of smart retail,and the retail industry’s different forms are getting increasingly competitive.With the changing market environment,the convenience stores in the retail industry are also taking corresponding measures to transform,in order to maintain and improve their position and core competitiveness in the market.In order to adapt to changing market conditions,convenience stores are constantly improving their own business model.The key research challenges of convenience shops at the moment are how to deal with the difficult international and local market environment under the new retail and business model transition.In this paper,BIANLIFENG as an example,through the analysis of its market environment and the current business model,to find its future development direction.This paper uses Citespace to summarize and classify relevant literature,so as to better sort out the results of business model research,and provide basic theoretical support for this study.This paper evaluates BIANLIFENG’s internal advantages and weaknesses and utilizing the SWOT approach,makes recommendations for the company’s future development orientation.The study analyzes the challenges of BIANLIFENG’s present business model by sorting out the current state of its business model and separating it into three modules,namely asset management,customer factors,and profit factors,using the business model canvas as the primary research instrument.In this study,despite BIANLIFENG having ample cash,clever technology,advanced information management technology,its own brand,and other advantages,BIANLIFENGit is found that the main problems of BIANLIFENG include fewer brand partners,lack of resources,poor profitability,insufficient commodity development ability and high labor cost.At the same time,the new business model canvas is used to provide improvement suggestions to strengthen product improvement and service upgrading,including deepening brand positioning and price demands,realizing service channel transformation,improving key resources and production capacity,expanding profit sources,so as to enhance the core competitiveness of convenience stores and customer loyalty.By using business model canvas tool to study the case,this paper proposes the digital problems to be solved for the application of smart retail technology,makes innovations in the integration of online and offline resources,and puts forward suggestions for improving the cost control generated in enterprise operation,so as to create higher value for enterprises.The above research results provide theoretical guidance for the optimization of the business model of new convenience stores of the same type in the later period,and also provide reference for their intelligent transformation. |
