Research On Schedule Management Of YC Cloud Data Center Construction Project

As a technology and asset-intensive industry,the construction project of cloud data center is a systematic work,which has the characteristics of large investment,high technical difficulty,high construction quality requirements and many participants.Therefore,the construction project management of cloud data center has higher requirements on project planning and control,project cost,project communication and project quality than other types of projects.Under the multiple pressures of schedule,cost and quality,during the construction of cloud data center,there will be problems such as unreasonable project schedule planning,lack of effective monitoring and safeguard measures for project schedule control,which will eventually lead to delayed delivery of some cloud data center construction projects.Therefore,it is of practical significance to optimize the project schedule management problems existing in China’s cloud data center construction projects.This paper takes YC cloud data center construction project as the research object,and conducts in-depth research on the design content of schedule management optimization scheme of YC cloud data center construction project.Firstly,the relevant research results at home and abroad are summarized and sorted out,and the concepts and theoretical knowledge related to the research work of this paper are expounded,which lays a theoretical foundation for the writing of the paper.Secondly,this paper expounds the current situation of schedule management of the first phase of YC cloud data center construction project,and conducts a questionnaire survey on the problems existing in schedule management.After in-depth analysis,it is found that the main reasons for the delay of the first phase of YC cloud data center construction project are that the impact of resource constraints and uncertainties is not considered in the preparation of project schedule,and effective monitoring and safeguard measures for project schedule control is lack.Thirdly,based on the critical chain theory,the schedule management scheme of cloud data center construction project is optimized and designed.Finally,the schedule management optimization scheme is applied to the fourth phase of YC cloud data center construction project,and the application effect is analyzed.At the same time,the schedule management guarantee measures corresponding to the project schedule management optimization scheme proposed in this paper are formulated to ensure that the fourth phase of YC cloud data center construction project can be delivered on schedule and achieve the expected construction period goal.This paper designs and summarizes a set of more scientific and reasonable practical schemes for the schedule management of YC cloud data center construction project,which not only helps to improve the schedule management level of the cloud data center construction project,but also provides some reference for the progress management of other similar projects in the cloud data center industry,which promotes the healthy development of the schedule management theory and practice of the cloud data center construction project.
