This thesis takes Duolun County,Inner Mongolia as the research area, and uses the land use status and statistical data from 2006 to 2020.From the perspectives of population, population structure, agricultural production, land use, living standard, external contact, topographic conditions and ecological environment,Seventeen indicators, including the number of permanent residents, proportion of labor force, reclamation index, per capita cultivated land area, level of communization, distance from township center and proportion of water area, were selected to establish an evaluation index system for rural development level.Using range standardization, entropy weight method,multi-factor comprehensive evaluation method, standard deviation ellipse, center of gravity shift, global Moran’s I index and geographic detector, the spatial and temporal evolution of rural spatial pattern and its influencing factors from 2006 to 2020 were analyzed. The results show that:1.From 2006 to 2020,villages with high rural population index were mainly distributed in Dabigou Town, villages with high rural production index were mainly distributed in Caimushan Town, villages with high rural life index were mainly distributed in Duolun Town, and villages with high rural ecological index were mainly distributed in Luanyuan Town.On the whole, the villages with high comprehensive level of rural development are mainly distributed in Duolun Town and Luanyuan Town, and there are sporadic distribution in Caimushan Township. The lower villages are distributed in Dabeigou town and Xigangou Township.2.From 2006 to 2020,the center of gravity of rural population index moved 1.34 km to the southeast, the center of rural life index moved 2.41 km to the northeast, and the comprehensive indexes of rural production, rural ecology and rural development moved1.97 km,8.25 km and 7.40 km to the northwest, respectively. The overall spatial distribution of rural population and rural life showed a southwest to northeast pattern and changed from due west to due east. The overall spatial distribution of rural production, rural ecology and rural development showed a southwest to northeast pattern, and changed from north to south.3.From 2006 to 2020,the distribution of rural living index, rural ecological index and comprehensive rural development index had a significant positive spatial correlation, and the global Moran’s I decreased on the whole, indicating that the spatial positive correlation was weakened. The rural population index has a significant positive spatial correlation only in 2020.Only in 2015 and 2020,rural production index has a significant positive spatial correlation.4.The spatial differentiation of the comprehensive level of rural development in Duolun County of Inner Mongolia is mainly affected by natural environment and social and economic factors. The dominant factors are water area and altitude, and the important factors are cultivated land area, accumulated precipitation and average temperature. The interaction of various influencing factors can enhance the explanatory power of the spatial differentiation of the comprehensive level of rural development, which is mainly manifested as two-factor enhancement and nonlinear enhancement.
