Research On The Impact Of Digital Economy On The Development Level Of Rural Revitalization In Anhui Province

Rural revitalization is a major strategy for China’s economic and social development at present and even longer.It is an important measure to solve the contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the Chinese people’s ever-growing needs for a better life in the new era.As an agricultural province,Anhui province have issued the Anhui province rural revitalization strategy planning(2018-2022)and the rural industry development planning in Anhui province(2021-2025)help achieve rural revitalization,but subject to finely management,resource allocation,advanced agricultural technology application,agricultural and rural development is still the weakest link in the development of our country.The development of digital economy has brought new momentum to accelerate the pace of rural revitalization and realize the high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas.However,the current digital transformation of agriculture and rural areas in Anhui Province is faced with lagging digital infrastructure,insufficient integration of digital technology and agriculture,and unbalanced development of prefectures and cities.How to make full use of the development dividend of digital economy,break the many shackles of agricultural production link,and realize the high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas,has become a key problem to be solved urgently.A thorough analysis of how the digital economy affects the rural revitalization and development in Anhui Province can provide data support and policy implementation space for the implementation of the new development concept and the smooth promotion of rural revitalization and development in Anhui Province.The article first sorted out the literature such as related research on digital economy,rural revitalization and development,and digital economy influencing rural development and reviewed it.Secondly,the paper explains the related concepts of digital economy and rural revitalization,and discusses the influence mechanism of digital economy on rural revitalization,and puts forward the research hypothesis of this paper based on this basis.Thirdly,the entropy method is used to measure the scale of the digital economy and the level of rural revitalization in Anhui Province,and the mathematical statistical analysis,Gini coefficient and Arc GIS visualization are used to analyze the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics of the digital economy and rural revitalization.Double fixed effect model is then used to analyze the influence of digital economy on rural revitalization,and the per capita income of farmers affects rural revitalization,Bootstrap and Sobel;static and dynamic threshold model to verify the nonlinear influence of digital economy,and the spatial spillover effect of digital economy and rural revitalization with dynamic space model.Finally,based on the above research,policy suggestions for improving digital economy and rural revitalization are obtained.The main research conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The level of digital economy and rural revitalization in Anhui Province shows an upward trend year by year,and the regional differences have eased.The average development level of digital economy at the provincial level increased from 0.056 in 2011 to 0.55 in 2020,and the level of rural revitalization increased from 0.259 in 2011 to 0.51 in2020.A high-value area with "Hefei-Wuhu" as the core and extending to southern Anhui was gradually formed.The regional differences were alleviated,but there was a certain degree of spatial imbalance.(2)The Digital economy has significantly raised the level of rural revitalization.From the perspective of sub-indicators,digital economy has a significant positive role in promoting industrial prosperity,rural governance and life prosperity;from other variables,urbanization and wage income ratio are conducive to the improvement of rural revitalization level;from the perspective of dynamic panel model,the current rural revitalization is positively affected by the previous phase of rural revitalization.From the perspective of mechanism test,rural per capita income is the intermediary of digital economy impact on rural revitalization.(3)The impact of digital economy on rural revitalization has the nonlinear characteristics of increasing "marginal effect".In the static threshold and the dynamic threshold model,both the digital economy and farmers’ per capita income have a significant single threshold effect on rural revitalization,and this impact has the characteristics of marginal increase.When the threshold is crossed,the positive impact of digital economy and farmers’ per capita income on rural revitalization is far greater than that before the threshold.(4)Digital economy can act on the rural revitalization and development in neighboring areas through the spatial spillover effect.The development of digital economy not only promotes the level of local rural revitalization,but also has a significant spatial spillover effect on the level of rural revitalization in neighboring areas.From the perspective of dynamic spatial model,the long-term effect of digital economy on rural revitalization is greater than the short-term effect,indicating that the long-term impact of digital economy is greater than the short-term impact.
