| With the formal establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community,ASEAN countries have gradually appeared in international exchanges as a whole on the basis of common interests and regional identity,better safeguarding the rights and interests of allies.Furthermore,the recent "Belt and Road" initiative and the construction of economic corridors under the "Belt and Road" have built a bridge for the development of trade between Laos and China.As a major country along the route,Laos and China continue to expand economic and trade cooperation,especially after China and Laos have agreed to upgrade their relations to comprehensive strategic partnerships,political mutual trust has continued to deepen,and bilateral trade cooperation has reached a new level.However,in the development of bilateral trade between Laos and China,a series of problems have emerged,such as a wide disparity in trade structure and a serious trade deficit.Therefore,analyzing the development status of Laos and China’s bilateral trade and exploring the reasons behind the problems are of great significance for promoting the further development of Laos and China’s bilateral trade and increasing the influence of the "Belt and Road".This article is mainly based on the ASEAN Economic Community framework to study the development trend of Laos and China.The article is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the background of the topic,the literature review and the framework of the paper and the main innovations.The second part is the analysis of the influence mechanism of the "Belt and Road" on the "Lao-China" bilateral trade.This part mainly explains the comparison of the bilateral trade before and after the Belt and Road Initiative,enriches the form of bilateral trade,and brings about the development of bilateral trade.Development potential.The third part is the challenges faced by bilateral trade.Among them,the challenges faced by bilateral trade under the framework of the “Belt and Road” are divided into the challenges brought about by “edge effects” and the challenges brought about by Laos’ s domestic economic backwardness.The fourth part is mainly to analyze the current situation of "Lao-China" bilateral trade.It is mainly divided into the following four parts,which are the historical regression,main achievements,main features and economic foundation of the development of "Lao-China" bilateral trade..The fifth part is an empirical analysis of the influencing factors of Laos and China’s bilateral trade from the perspective of the One Belt One Road.It mainly explains the factors in the empirical model,explanatory model settings and data sources,descriptive statistical analysis,regression of empirical results,and Robustness test.The sixth part is the main conclusions and policy recommendations,including further strengthening the bilateral trade cooperation between Laos and China,reducing the trade cost between Laos and China,improving the bilateral trade deficit and strengthening the cooperation between "Laos-China" enterprises and universities or research institutions.Finally,according to this article His research has drawn the following conclusions:(1)The “Belt and Road”initiative has greatly promoted the development of “Laos-China” bilateral trade.(2)The reduction of trade costs is the main purpose of the implementation of various policies of the “Belt and Road”,and it is also an important means to improve the level of “Lao-China” trade.(3)Under the "Belt and Road"-Laos-China bilateral trade has great potential for development. |
