Research On The Influence Of Agricultural Insurance On Farmer’s Income In Jilin Province

Agricultural Insurance is an effective measure taken by the government in order to avoid the risks of farmers’ agricultural operations and to ensure a sustainable and stable life for farmers,as well as to achieve the goal of comprehensive construction of the good life as soon as possible,it is the main force that urges the farmer to advance ceaselessly.From the beginning of 2004 until now,every new “Central government document No.1 in China has touched on the topic of “Agriculture,rural areas and farmers”.From 2004,pilot work on agricultural insurance was launched,and policybased insurance began in 2017,in 2018,the circular on launching the pilot program for lots of cost insurance and income insurance on three major food crops was issued,and the Agricultural Protection System related to agricultural insurance was improved,so as to rationally carry out the work of establishing agricultural insurance,by 2022,the first central government document proposed to do a good job in grain production,actively develop agricultural insurance and reinsurance,optimize the “Insurance +futures”model.This further illustrates the importance of agricultural insurance in the process of rural agricultural development,and constantly monitors and requires local governments at all levels to ensure effective financial support and assistance for agricultural insurance,in order to better carry out the work related to agricultural insurance,and put forward a lot of practical measures and suggestions.Agricultural Insurance is an effective measure taken by the government in order to avoid the risks of farmers ’agricultural operations and to ensure a sustainable and stable life for farmers,as well as to achieve the goal of comprehensive construction of the good life as soon as possible,it is the main force that urges the farmer to advance ceaselessly.Based on the actual development of agricultural insurance in Jilin Province,combining practice with theory,using the statistical data of 18 years from 2003 to 2020 in Jilin Province,through co-integration test,error correction model,this paper systematically analyzes the impact of agricultural insurance on farmers’ income in Jilin Province under the effect of long-term equilibrium and short-term time,and draws the conclusion that whether in long-term equilibrium or short-term time,the impact of agricultural insurance on farmers’ income in Jilin Province is positive,Then we suggest rationalized countermeasures and recommendations for the current agricultural insurance policy.This article is divided into five parts.The first section of the introduction introduces the background and significance of the selected topic,the research details,the research results,the innovation and weaknesses of the thesis,and underlines the importance of the topic;Chapter 2 defines the relevant concepts and their theoretical foundations,and introduces the notion of agricultural insurance and farmers’ income in detail,as well as the scientific foundations on which the dissertation research is based;Chapter 3 gives a detailed analysis of the status of agricultural insurance and farmers’ income in Jilin Province.Chapter 4 presents the empirical analysis of the impact of agricultural insurance on farmers’ income in Jilin Province;Chapter 5 puts forward responses and suggestions based on the results of the practical analysis.
