Analysis Of Influencing Factors And Countermeasures Of Farmers’ Income In Jilin Province

Since the reform and opening up,the problem of farmers’ income has been the core of the problem of "three farmers".The steady and sustained growth of farmers’ income is not only the economic basis for realizing the strategy of rural revitalization,but also an important condition for promoting domestic economic circulation,industrial development and urban-rural integration.Faced with the severe and complex international situation and the downward trend of domestic economy,Chinese farmers’ income shows obvious fluctuation trend.How to adapt to the new normal of rapid economic growth to slow down growth rate and promote the sustainable increase of farmers’ income is a major practical issue facing China at present.This paper analyzes the evolution trend,current structure of farmers’ income growth in Jilin Province and the contribution rate of various income sources to total income.Linear regression and Ridge regression are used to explore the influence and relative contribution of each variable index to total income of farmers.The main factors affecting wage income,family operating income,property income and transfer income are revealed by redundancy analysis.The results show that the farmers’ income in Jilin Province presents phased changes,namely "fluctuating growth stage-high growth stage-balanced and stable stage-rapid growth stage-slow growth stage".Household management income and wage income are the main source of farmers’ income and the main driving force to increase total income in Jilin Province.Secondly,the sown area of crops,the total power of agricultural machinery,the proportion of employees in the tertiary industry,the level of urbanization and the labor productivity of the primary industry have a greater contribution to the growth of farmers’ income,among which the sown area of crops,the total power of agricultural machinery and the labor productivity of the primary industry have a higher impact on the growth of household operating income.The proportion of employees in the tertiary industry and the level of urbanization have a higher impact on wage income growth.Based on this,this paper starts from the four sources of farmers’ income,combines with the dilemma of farmers’ income growth in Jilin Province,and puts forward the corresponding policy suggestions.First,promote appropriate scale operation of agriculture and improve labor productivity of one industry;Second,strengthen the support of social industry,and construct the interest linkage mechanism between various management subjects and farmers;Third,give full play to the advantages of resources and enhance the promoting role of the development of tertiary industry on household income;Fourth,promote the process of urbanization,enhance the ability of urban population absorption,and promote the increase of non-agricultural employment;Fifth,we should create a business environment conducive to the development of enterprises and increase their employment demand.Sixth,improve the quality of education in rural areas and strengthen vocational skills training for farmers;Seventh,further improve the construction of property rights trading market,promote the circulation of factors;Eighth,we will increase the amount and coverage of subsidies to farmers in various fields and increase the proportion of government spending on the development of social programs in rural areas.These suggestions are of great significance to steadily increase farmers’ incomes,achieve common prosperity for both urban and rural residents,and promote rural revitalization.
