Investigation On Food Waste Of Rural Residents In Jilin Province

"Food security" is the top priority of national security,and food security should be guaranteed from two aspects: food supply safety and food waste reduction.Jilin Province,located in the middle of northeast China,is a key ecological demonstration province and a major grain producing area in China.In 2021,the total grain output of Jilin province reached 80.784 billion jin for the first time,with the net increase ranking second in China.Taking rural residents in Jilin Province as the survey object,combined with the actual situation of rural areas in Jilin Province,a questionnaire survey was carried out,249 valid questionnaires were collected,data sorting and systematic analysis were carried out on the classification of kitchen waste of rural residents,and the basic situation of kitchen waste of rural residents was obtained,such as the many factors that affect food waste has carried on the statistical analysis,studies have shown that: Rural residents in Jilin province lack of grain saving knowledge and consciousness;The proportion of food waste is different among residents with different gender and monthly family income.On the whole,the proportion of food waste of male is higher than that of female,and the proportion of food waste of respondents with high monthly family income is higher than that of respondents with low monthly family income.Then,the structure of food waste was studied.On the whole,the proportion of fruit,vegetable and edible fungus food waste in rural residents was much higher than that of staple food and meat,eggs and milk food waste.In the actual research,it is also found that the food waste behavior of residents is affected by dining conditions,and the proportion of food waste is different in different dining forms,dining places,dining numbers and dining situations,and the wedding banquet waste of rural residents is the most serious.In order to study the influence degree of different influencing factors on food waste,this paper conducted multiple regression analysis on the influencing factors of food waste ratio,and the regression results showed that,Whether to prepare more food,rural residents’ health awareness,whether to watch the food saving video,whether to accept the punishment of food waste and whether to watch the food saving slogan were the important influencing factors of food waste in rural residents of Jilin Province.According to the research conclusion and previous literature research,this paper puts forward the popularization of food safety knowledge,increase saving food publicity,focus on cultivating and developing the food culture,to strengthen the food waste law propaganda and implementation,fully contained rural high-profile wedding extravagance and waste of corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions to gradually reduce food waste and ensure food security.
