Research On The Government’s Role In Agricultural Exhibition

Exhibition economy with the characteristics of high income,high profit and high relevance,has become a new growth point of China economy.Exhibition economy has created the huge economic efficiency and brought the good social efficiency.In recent years,the government of Shanxi Province has always attached great importance to the exhibition industry in the province,and listed it as the key industry during the “13th five-year plan”and“14th five-year plan”.As an important part of the exhibition industry,Agricultural Exhibition has become the booster of modern agriculture development under the new normal of economy.With the rise of agricultural exhibition,the number of agricultural exhibitions held in Shanxi Province has increased year by year.At present,Shanxi Province has made some achievements in agricultural exhibition,but there is still a gap compared with the exhibition center city.In the current context,the government’s role in promoting the development of agricultural exhibition is still irreplaceable.So study how the government plays a better role in agricultural exhibition has great practical significance to promote the development of agricultural exhibition and agricultural economy.The paper takes Shanxi Province as an example.Through the literature material method,and the questionnaire survey method,simultaneously carries on the thorough analysis with the national level,the provincial level,the city level three agriculture exhibitions as the demonstration cases,this paper expounds the present situation of the government’s function in agricultural exhibition.Based on the case study and investigation results,this paper probes into the problems existing in the role of the government in the agricultural exhibition in Shanxi Province,and discusses the offside in the industrial development,the absence in the policy guidance,and the dislocation in the market supervision,etc.,and the reasons for the existing problems are analyzed.From the macroscopic point of view,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the role of the government in agricultural conference and exhibition,namely,the government should strengthen the training of talents,clarify the government’s position,strengthen the top-level design and simplify the approval process.The government should improve the mechanism,complement the weak points,while helping the healthy development of agricultural exhibition,to achieve the“Invisible hand” to promote the development of the entire region’s exhibition economy.
