| Document No.1 of the Central Committee in 2021 pointed out: "It is necessary to focus on two types of business entities,namely,farmer cooperatives and family farms,increase support for farmer cooperatives with standardized operation,and promote the quality improvement of farmer cooperatives".It can be seen that the state attaches great importance to the high-quality development of new agricultural business entities such as farmers’ cooperatives.In addition,agricultural production cooperatives,as an important form of farmers’ cooperatives,are conducive to promoting the moderate scale operation of agriculture and the modernization of agricultural industry in China.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to analyze and prevent the management risks of farmers’ production cooperatives to improve their management level and achieve high-quality development.This paper uses literature review,field investigation,empirical analysis and other research methods;Based on economies of scale theory,risk management theory,institutional change theory and other related theories of economics,management and other disciplines;Based on the survey data of 124 agricultural production cooperatives in Guizhou Province,firstly,the index system of operational risk assessment of agricultural production cooperatives in Guizhou Province is constructed from five aspects: market risk,management risk,technical risk,natural risk and policy risk,and then it is measured by factor analysis.Secondly,the influencing factors system of agricultural production cooperatives in Guizhou Province is constructed from five aspects: policy support,economic environment,social services,technical environment,and operator characteristics,and the structural equation model is used for empirical analysis.The results show that: among the factors affecting the operating risks of agricultural production cooperatives in Guizhou Province,policy support,as the most critical external factor,has a direct impact on the operating risks of agricultural production cooperatives;As a supporting external factor,the economy has a direct impact on the operational risks of agricultural production cooperatives.As important external factors,social environment and technical environment have indirect(partial)influence on the management risks of agricultural production cooperatives;As the most important internal core factor,the manager’s personal characteristics have a direct impact on the management risks of agricultural production cooperatives.According to the research results,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions,such as strengthening the guidance and support of agricultural production cooperatives,optimizing the market operating environment of agricultural production cooperatives,improving the social service environment of agricultural production cooperatives,and improving the internal management level of agricultural production cooperatives. |
