As the wave of technological revolution advances around the world,high-tech industry gradually becomes the leading industry of economic development,and also becomes an important support to lead high-quality economic development.However,the development of high-tech industry in China has problems such as unbalanced regional investment and large regional technology gap.It is important to accurately measure and evaluate the technological innovation efficiency of China’s regional high-tech industry,and scientifically identify the factors affecting the technological innovation efficiency of China’s high-tech industry to promote the coordinated development of China’s regional high-tech industry innovation.The research object of this thesis is the technological innovation efficiency and influencing factors of China’s regional high-tech industry.Firstly,starting from the eight economic comprehensive regions in China,the input-output data from 2010 to 2020 are selected as samples,and the total factor productivity and its composition of high-tech industry in the eight regions are measured by using data envelopment analysis;Secondly,technology introduction,R&D intensity,enterprise scale,industrial agglomeration,external openness and independent innovation are selected as explanatory variables,and labor quality and economic level are used as control variables to analyze the factors influencing the technological innovation efficiency of high-tech industries in eight regions in China by establishing a multivariate linear panel regression model;Finally,suggestions are made for the development of high-tech industry in China based on the research results.The research results show that;Firstly,the technological innovation efficiency of high-tech industry in all regions of China has improved to different degrees during the measurement period,and technical efficiency changes and technological progress play a dominant role in different years;Secondly,the largest mean value of total factor productivity of high-tech industry in eight regions of China is in the southwest and the smallest is in the northwest;Thirdly,technology introduction and enterprise size are the factors limiting the development of technological innovation efficiency;R&D intensity and independent innovation promote technological innovation efficiency,and industrial agglomeration and the degree of opening to the outside world have different directions on technological innovation efficiency;Fourthly,technological innovation efficiency in northeast,eastern coastal,southern coastal and northwest regions is significantly related to technology introduction,enterprise size,R&D intensity and independent innovation,while technological innovation in northern coastal,middle Yellow River and middle Yangtze River regions is significantly related to technology introduction,enterprise size,R&D intensity and independent innovation.The regression coefficients of technological innovation efficiency and technology introduction,enterprise scale,R&D intensity,industrial agglomeration and independent innovation are more significant,and the technological innovation efficiency of southwest region is significantly related to technology introduction,degree of opening to the outside world,R&D intensity,industrial agglomeration and independent innovation.In this regard,the following suggestions are put forward;Increasing the R&D investment in some regions and promoting the balance of regional R&D input and output.Formulating targeted policies to enhance the innovation efficiency of high-tech industry.Weakening the reliance on technology introduction and encouraging the independence of high-tech industry.Increasing the R&D investment of enterprises and maintaining their innovation momentum.Utilizing the advantages of small and medium-sized enterprises and promoting their technological innovation.Encouraging enterprises to innovate independently and improving the independent innovation process. |
